Adrienne - ugh, I feel your confusion. 3 negative OPKs in a row, then my temp totally spiked. We did BD on the day of O but pretty sure it was too late. I'm thisclose to just giving up any hopes of it ever happening naturally!!

Ashley - thanks for the mutual rage. ;) Right now there's no point in trying to do anything. I'm just going to wait until January for my appt because the Vancouver clinic is closed now until the new year anyway. Grrr. I was fuming inside and I'm sure it showed, because the doctor had to stop and try and empathize with me ("I've had a miscarriage myself and know what it's like to want to try again right away..." - um thanks, but not the same scenario...). Anyway - so much for your doubt!!!!!!!!! I knew it!!!!!!! :D Soooooo happy for you, and sending lots and lots of sticky vibes your way. :)

Mari - thanks for the LOL! Haha, you sound just like DH - he wanted to go in there and yell. Ummm, pretty sure that would NOT have helped the situation! Haha. I would like to tell my doc when I see her how frustrating the whole thing is, but I doubt that'll do any good either. :S Oh, and she is my only doctor, I don't have my own OBGYN because I was supposed to 'skip the middle man' and just see the fertility doc at the local clinic instead. So much for that.

Em - Hi!! Yep I sure was on NE (CL actually) and I remember you!! Congrats on your first little guy! Best of luck for #2. :)

Kate - congrats to you!!!!!!!!! Don't think I've "seen" you in a while either. :)

Q for everyone using OPKs - how accurate do you really find them?? Have you ever had a bunch of negatives and then figure out you actually O'd??

Thank you everyone! Like I said in another thread I feel so lucky and grateful and know that I did absolutely nothing to deserve getting pregnant so fast. I wish it could be this way for everyone and I hate that it isn't :(

Alison- I did feel quite pregnant and different but I also thought 1. That comes off pretty obnoxious, 2. I could quite easily be wrong and I hate being wrong ;) and 3. It is so easy to read into everything when you really want something that I just couldn't trust my body. However you seemed to know all along :D

That doc sounds so silly. Yes well I had a miscarriage (you know which already gave me the knowledge that I can get pregnant in the first place!) and I totally wanted to just start again- that must be just how you feel when you have been TTC 2 years with no success! - what an idiot!- I think your plan now is good.Hopefully your experience in Vancouver is just so positive and affirming that it totally allows you to "forget" how much this experience with your doctor has sucked.

Also OPKs never worked for me. I had many days of what i thought were positives and could just never really get a clear O day from them. Also if you have a quick surge you could totally miss your O with OPKS- I heard some women would really need to test every 6- 8 hours or something like that to catch it.

You know what stinks about the new board layout is that siggies get updated and are always the most current so I noticed Ash's news via her ticker than I had to search for this post. Anyhow....

Congrats ASH!!! Sending you lots of sticky baby vibes.

I think you could have spotting just because of all the hormones in your body. I had spotting this cycle that definitely wasn't implantation and couldn't be O because it lasted so long. I'm not sure why I had it but I think it just had to do with hormones. Since you aren't temping you also can't rule out the possibility that you still haven't O'd or that you are having an annovulatory cycle.

Personally I would assume that you actually haven't O'd and keep BDing every few days. I mean there is no way you can be 15DPO and getting a negative test, especially since you normally get positives super early.

I hope things become clear for you really soon, I would be going crazy and feeling super annoyed. Sometimes our bodies really like to make things hard for us!

Congrats, Ash! :)
Adrienne- my first 2 AFs after she came back were totally wonky. I was convinced I was PG bc of how everything was presenting, but the GYN said to expect them to be wonky as ling as I was bfing. I know how frustrated I was and we weren't TTC. Anyways, just wanted to say hang in there!

-Suzie :)
