Expecting our little girl after three m/c - EDD 11/29/12
I told DH!
These are the cards he saw.
He flipped through all the others, saw the one of DS, then the test, and then kept right on going. I stopped him and said "Did you see that?" His reply--"Yeah, it's a pregnancy test."
Umm, ok. So I asked if he got it. "Yeah, it's from when you had Peter." I just kept looking at him, and he finally got it. Why would I show him a picture of a two year old test??? Then he started in on how we would afford it, etc. I finally told him to shut up and let me have my moment. He's happy, but worried. He keeps asking Peter if he's ready to be a big brother, and when can he tell people? So all in all, not the super excited response I would have liked, but at least he didn't freak out. He's mainly worried about me, since I work and commute an hour each way.

Liz - that is so cute!
Jules - Happily married and Momma to DS, DD and expecting our Caboose Baby 11/24/2012
Liz,
I was just about to ask you in the baby chat if you told your DH then I saw your message
Liz - I am sorry you didn't get the response you wanted from DH. I know when I first told DH that I was pregnant with Gabby he was in the shower (So I know I had bad timing, but I Couldn't wait). and all he said was "Really? are you sure it's right?" I was heartbroken. All day he was like "we aren't pregnant yet, it's too faint of a line, blah blah blah"....hopefully this time he will have a better reaction.
Me - just patiently waiting for AF to leave. I started taking B6 yesterday and I have my OPK's all ready to go. I have no idea really how to use them so any tips would be great....The kit said to start the day after your period ends...so I guess I will start peeing in a cup soon.
I did the commute thing when pregnant with Peter too, but it was a little easier since I just had me to worry about. As for his reaction, he had apparently just started thinking about how tough it would be, and wanting to pursue his masters, etc. He's good now.
It's cold here, but you never know what the temp in the office will be. Right now it's reading 71*, but it could go up or down. I'll probably just keep my coat on. ;)
Jessica - sorry about AF. :(
E - so sorry for all the stress & troubles you've been having. I think we all underestimate how much stress really does to our bodies, so I'm hopeful things smooth out for you soon. Your chart looks good so far though!!
Shawn - fingers crossed!
Liz - that was freaking ADORABLE!! I'm sure DH will come around soon and just enjoy pending second-parenthood.
AFM - Would you believe I'm STILL on AF? Ridiculous!! And I got a call from my doc yesterday - my hospital visit has been scheduled for NEXT TUESDAY. Um... yeah... she DID get my msg that it took 13.5 days from the first day of the progesterone challenge to actually start AF... so WTF?!? She said to start my SECOND progesterone challenge immediately, so I did yesterday. This is ridic - I'm still on AF from the first challenge, but am on the second day of the second challenge.
Now here's the problem - if I don't get a second AF by next Tuesday, they might just send me home. She didn't tell me to take 2 pills/day, but I think I will. Just don't know if it's dangerous. I don't want to have to reschedule the tests and end up waiting another month!!!! Grrr.
Hi girls! :) I'm
