So there was this advertisement on the radio today for a clinical trial for women who are trying to get pregnant.

That stinks Kim! I wish I could be in the trial, that would be awesome to have a pregnancy test tell you how far along you are! Heheh!

And Andrea, in response to what you said on the other thread--shouldn't your chart be looking different by 7 DPO--not necessarily. Your chart shouldn't really look different until after implantation, which could be as late as 9 DPO or even later. So don't feel down about this cycle YET, it is still too early to tell.

Thanks for setting this up, Kim! That's too bad about the trial for those new OPKs/HPTs - that's weird that they won't allow you to do it. I guess they want to be consistent with the people they are using though.

Andrea - don't give up yet. You really can't base anything on your chart until AF is supposed to come. If your temps are still up when she normally arrives, then it's a good sign.

AFM - I so don't give a crap about TTC right now! LOL I don't know what it is, but I just feel like forgetting about it completely. I heard from ANOTHER friend of mine today that she's pregnant...who isn't, right? It just makes me angry, and I had to hold back tears and pretend I was happy for her.

Anyway, with that and the excitement/stress of the house, I haven't been in the TTC mood. But, I saw EWCM today, so need to make a decision quickly whether we should try or not.

TRY!

Of course if you ended up PG you would be thrilled. It sounds like maybe you need a little mental break, but no need to actually AVOID DTD at the right time, IMO!

LOL Yeah, I guess there's no harm in not-preventing. I guess I'm just getting a bit sick of not being PG, that if I prevent, then at least I'm not PG by my own accord, you know?

Anyway - question for you all. I had spotting with my EWCM today, and I've NEVER seen that. It kind of freaked me out - like I was thinking that I was getting AF so early! LOL Then I pulled my head out of my butt and remembered that some women get that.

Does it mean anything particular about the ovulation - i.e., does it mean I'm more or less fertile than normal? Or does it not mean anything at all?

It means you just O'd, and I would think it does mean that it was a well-developed follicle. So you and DH BETTER GYFO tonight girl!

Alright - we did the BD, and we plan to keep trying until my temp goes up.

Andrea - it is really hard to stay positive. The cycle I got PG I was sure that I wasn't, and my chart looked exactly the same as before (until the temps didn't go down when they normally did). Try to keep the hope alive (afterall, it's way more draining to be negative), but I understand how you're feeling. TTC is just such a roller coaster ride.

Kim - how long are your cycles normally? I wonder if they'll go back to "normal" right away, or fluctuate a bit in the beginning. Are you planning to start TTC this cycle?

A "normal" cycle for me is around 35-38 days.

Well, I have my fingers crossed that you'll get that BFP really soon! We need some new graduates on this board!
