I just had my yearly in Feb, but with new insurance I can have it anytime after June 1. Should I wait until we're PG and then call the new office (later this year), or should I try to get in to see them before?
There are 2 different doctor groups I could chose from to go to that hospital.
We're still debating the whole home birth idea as well.

With the fast rate you deliver babies, a HB might not be a bad idea! If you're serious about it, I would start looking into MW's now. In my area, there are only a handful that do HBs and they book up FAST.
Do you have any idea how long it might take you to get in to the new group of docs? Maybe you could call to see what the wait is and then decide. Since you just had your annual in Feb., I'm not sure what more they could do except a TTC check (but you've already had two babies so it's kind of a moot point I would think), but if it takes awhile to get in then it might not be a bad idea to have a relationship established ahead of time.

AF showed up yesterday so no BFP for me (there was a teeny chance I could be PG after being a little careless last cycle). Part of me was a little bummed, but really it’s for the best as it would put a wrench in our plans if I end up at a new school this fall. I’m hoping we can shoot for July.
I think HB are great but I would never do one! Recently a midwife clinc opened up near the park we love. It's one of those go, have your baby in a home like setting, and then go home deals. I was surprised when Rob showed some interest in it and mentioned it to me since I hate the hospitals here, but I just feel more comfortable being close to a NICU. If someone could give me a 100% guarantee I'd have a perfectly healthy baby I would do it.
But I certainly admire women who do it!

AFM - Well we slipped last night. I lost track of my days and just plain didn't care and we DTD last night sans condom. And then this morning my temp rose. Before I O it's in the mid 96's, after I O mid 97's, and if I am pregnant low 98's. My temp this morning was 97. And my OPK was negative. I kept forgetting to test and my CD 12 OPK is more then twice as dark as today's so now I am thinking CRAP, what if I o'd last night!?
It would just be my luck to get pregnant in April 4 years in a row!

My issue w/ HB is both of my boys had severe jaundice and both had to have intervention in the hospital (with Teddy being readmitted after we were discharged).

Kate- If it was me, I would schedule an appointment to make sure I liked the doctors before TTC.
