I thought I'd go ahead and get the September ball rolling, especially because there are so many of us who are really optimistic about September! I even put the tickers in order of where everyone is in their cycle. That'll change, but for now we've got those closest to testing up top. :)
Ruby, I wasn't sure where you were in your cycle, so let me know and I'll move you so we can have some idea of where you fall.
Yay for September! I hope we get lots of BFPs this month!
Andi - That's awful about your allergic reaction! Do you have any idea what might have caused it? And that's funny about being set up on a blind-friend date!
AFM: Not sure what our chances will be like this month - we weren't able to GOFO last night like planned because DH was feeling really ill (I have a feeling it was more stress about his interview tomorrow than anything).
My temp this morning definitely is above the cover line though - so the question is did I O on the weekend (like I thought - and the EWCM I was seeing was just residual semen), or did I O yesterday. I guess I'll find out in a week or so when either AF comes or I can test.
I did order some IC's, so hopefully they come soon!
Alyssa- I love your new siggie. I usually make my own, but yours is so beautiful, I am considering having Joelle make me one!
Erin- thanks for setting that up, and I actually really like that its in order too! You're right that it will change, but there will always be a section to watch instead of looking at all the charts to figure it out.
Jenni- good luck on these next couple days, I have decided that the few days right before you find out its AF or a BFP are the worst. (Although with my 2 unexpectedly short last two cycles, I didn't even have time to hope... I guess that's good, I was complaining that every month I got my hopes up, and so that's what I get... no hopes at all :-P). I hope you are doing okay with it, and I hope that you can start off our Sept. with a BFP!
afm- in about 5 minutes I am leaving to go to a retreat for work. I will be gone till Thursday afternoon. The hardest part about it is being away from DH. He is invited to come, but can't take this time off, so then I have to deal without him. We've done it before, and every time it gets easier, but the first retreat was really tough.
My temp was a bit higher this morning, which was strange. I wasn't going to temp over the next two days, but with that strange one, I decided I should figure out what my body is doing. If I am ovulating earlier than normal that could explain my early AF too. I just hope its not this early... especially since there will be no GOFO time possible until Thurs evening. Oh well... we'll see what happens.
ERIN - thanks for setting the thread up! Wow, September already... the holidays are around the corner *eek*
ALYSSA - Looking at your chart I think I would vote for the later O date. Even if you didn't get to GOFO last night you'd still have a pretty good chance (I think I remember you had a GOFO streak going before that, yah?) Oh, and my allergy thing... my body produces too much histamine in response to physical pressure or touch (a clothing tag, socks too tight, leaning against a chair), then I scratch which causes hives and more histamine and more itching. I'm allergic to myself. LOL
Lisa - definitely get Joelle to make you a new siggie! She's amazing (plus, if you have a few, you can put them in a rotator). I guess you won't see this until you get back, so I hope you had a great time at your retreat! Fingers crossed that you don't O too early!
Andi - that's awful about being allergic to yourself (but, admittedly, is a bit funny!). You're right in that even if I did O yesterday, our GOFOing from before that could still be okay - I guess only time will tell.
AFM - I had an appointment with a tattoo artist today (I have three already, and want to get another). I showed her what I wanted, and we came up with a plan! It will be a comet across the top of my foot - the head will be just under my big toe, and then it'll swoop along under my toes and end under the pinky! I'm so excited to get it, but we couldn't make the appointment until Oct. 15th :P So, if I get PG before then, I can't get it done.
There's a *little* part of me that wants to hold off on getting PG so I can get it done - but it's not overwhelming. I guess I can think of it as a fun thing to do if we DON'T get PG - otherwise, I'll be PG, and I can't complain! LOL
Someday soon I'll get back to personals, I swear!! Things are coming along for us. I'm on CD 15 today and I think I O'd on Saturday or Sunday. DH and I will probably GOFO the next week and a half EOD, though DH seems ultra frisky recently and we've done it ED for a few days now. Not that I'm complaining or anything...
Laminate should be done tomorrow and I'm striping my bathroom this week. The base color is a light gray called Fine Silver and the other stripe is called Blackberry Bloom which is a rich dark purple. I so hope things are semi-normal next week which I think it will be once we move furniture upstairs. It's so overwhelming.
Overall I feel pretty good about TTC and hoping we caught the egg. We'll have to see what happens I guess. I don't plan to test until I'm a week late.
Ruby - sounds like things are coming along with your house! Yay! It must be tough though to kind of live in chaos, so I hope you can put your furniture back soon.
Jen - it's not really dangerous to get a tattoo while PG (just the general things about infection, etc., which might happen with getting one in general), but it's one of those things where they say it's not required, so why risk it? I actually asked my doctor about it, and she wasn't worried, but did say to ask the tattoo artist. It was the artist that said they absolutely won't do it, because of stress on the body (and I think to cover their butts in case something DOES go wrong - either with the tattoo or with the baby).
I've attached pictures of mine in the order I got them (sorry for the bad angles; the one of the ankle goes all the way around)
That's great that your pain is mostly gone! It would be really tough having lots of pain while having sex, so I'm glad that it's not as bad. And I've been talking to my tummy too - and telling DH that I'm his potentially pregnant wife! LOL Being positive about it definitely can't hurt, so do it if you want :D
AFM - DH has a big interview today! It's his second one with the company, so we're hoping he'll get a job offer soon (fingers crossed).
