Let's get those September BFPs!
JEN - I don't think you're crazy for talking to your stomach. After I O I definitely make a few comments in the general direction of the uterus. I tell that little mung bean to find a spot and get ta' stickin'! :)
ALYSSA - GL to your DH on that job interview!
MARI - Thanks for the allergy sympathy. :) And congrats again on your exciting news about your little boy! :)
JENNI - Oooo, I see that temp going up! Go go go! You're testing on Friday right?
RUBY - Those bathroom colors sound great! I always like the drama a little striping can bring to a room, but I'm so afraid we'd do them crooked or something!
MARY - what on earth is up with your temps!? Do you think you O'd yesterday??? That's such a crazy random spike so early! (scratching head) You gotta wait a couple more days so we can stay cycle buddies. :) We're gonna start the tactical GOFO'ing tonight and then have a big hurrah all through the long weekend (nice timing).
AFM - I'm feeling much better now that I know what's going on with these allergies. Thanks for all the sympathy and ideas. I definitely hope to manage it without taking allergy meds every day. As for TTC, I'm feeling really relaxed this cycle (definitely less nerves than the big FIRST cycle TTC!) DH and I have both been really busy with work and with social stuff on the weekends which is making the time fly by, which is great. I hope the 2ww goes by as fast. :)
Thanks to Katie, Tara, and Joelle for my wonderful siggies!
Hi ladies, I'm back. Jenni, I am excited to hear what the next few days bring for you, and based off of the charts, it looks like a lot of people will be coming up on testing time soon.
I did read everything, but I am not going to try to do personals for all those posts :-p lol, I'll catch up as I go, and just say some things that I remember.
Alyssa, I will probably get a Joelle siggie whenever I can get my DH to take more pictures with me. The last one I have is the one I used for my ticker, and I don't love it, and I would like to have a few that rotate, but he hates taking pictures. The other thing is that he has lost a lot of weight since the last time I had him take a lot of pictures, and so I don't want to use those because you can see it in his face, and I just feel like it wouldn't do justice to him to have a siggie with those now outdated pics. We'll see.
Ruby (I think?) We are discouraged from bringing any electronics but our cell phones up to the retreat, not that a laptop would help anyways because there is no internet there. Its kind of about being away from it all... so Skype wouldn't work, but thanks for the suggestion. We talked on the phone each night, and since I left Tuesday morning, and am back Thurs afternoon, I really only had to go Wed without him, you know... so not so bad.
Jenni(I think?) I agree it wasn't ovulation, and it would have be extremely weird if it was. I am wondering if my taking the evening primrose oil is what is making my temps consistently around 97.5 which is normal the first "high" temp after O for me... I also added my ticker back to my profile, I figured since I am tracking again, I might as well keep you guys informed.
Afm- the retreat was actually nice. I teach at a Christian school, and so the retreat is mostly Bible studies, but it was really comforting to me. A couple of my close friend/coworkers and I talked a lot about TTC and they are all really sweet and reassuring etc, and they will be praying for me and that feels good too. There is a girl at work who just got PG, and so we talked for a while too, and they had been trying for 7 months before it happened, so that brings me comfort as well, that even young healthy people can just take some time. I would love to have a PG buddy at work, especially since we actually graduated the same year from the same school. So... I am hoping it happens soon so we can really have PG time together (she is due in April). We'll see.
Since I have been gone, I am sure we will have some times together before it, but officially (in my mind) the GOFO fest will start Monday. That will be 3 days before my predicted early O day, and I hope to keep it up for a week at least or until I see 3 high temps and know that its done.
Looking forward to seeing some early Sept. BFPs!
Alyssa: It makes sense that they would cover themselves like that.
Sure quiet around here
****tumbleweeds rolling by****
JENNI! It's friday. :)
ERIN - have a great and safe move this weekend (this weekend, yah?) !
MARY - still feeling ill? I hope those temps aren't tripping you out over there. ???
AFM - glad it's friday, but i have a lot of work to do, sigh. We don't have big plans for the 3 day weekend here... going to our friends' baby's (1year) birthday party tomorrow. Other than that I actually need to do a lot around the house that I haven't been wanting to do in the heat. Seems like it might cool down a bit this weekend.
Have a great weekend (and labor day weekend for us in the U.S.) everyone!
Thanks! Yep, we're heading out on Sunday. It's been an insane week around here. Even though we had movers, I spent all night every night just cleaning and decluttering and preparing for them. They came yesterday, so now we're sleeping on an air mattress and I'm working on my laptop from the floor today. Comfy. Wedding tomorrow and drive out Sunday bright and early!
So my chart is the lamest chart ever, in my opinion. I'm not holding out much if any hope because my temps are so erratic and keep tanking and spiking. If my temps happen to recover into awesome territory, I may test Sunday before we leave, but I'm not too optimistic about that. Positives about no BFP this month: Drinking in the Bahamas, being able to scuba dive/horseback ride/be a little adventurous. :)
I'll probably be able to stop in again before we leave, but if not, I'll be back Wednesday and will hopefully be updating the front page with a BFP or two. :)
