Let's get those September BFPs!
We made it to Kansas! Boy, that was three looong days in a car (1,890 miles!), so I'm so glad to be "home." Now we'll just be alternating between my mom's and the ILs, so it will be nice to relax. Saw my nephew (4) and niece (2) tonight, so that was fun. :)
AF showed on Monday morning with no warning. Thankfully she showed before we hit the road that morning/Unfortunately she showed before we hit the road that morning. "Thankfully" because at least we weren't 60 miles from a rest stop; "unfortunately" because well, not pregnant, and also, I so didn't want AF while driving so far. I ODed on Midol to get me through the first half day. With such a short LP this month I'm kind of wondering if I O'ed at all, but I must say that I wasn't at all surprised especially because of the wackiness of this cycle. I'm ready for a fresh start. Now I just have to find my thermometer...I have no idea where it is. :)
Waving hi to everyone!
Nice way of putting it, lol! I took that into consideration.....but we haven't had sex for several days now so I wouldn't think that to be it. I'll just keep an eye on it. It isnt internal yet which leads me to believe its not a yeast infection...its not a burning feeling like when it goes internal, just random itchiness.
Andi,HI back at ya!! Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye on it for awhile. Its not uncomfortable like a real yeast infection, just annoying.
Thanks Katie for my siggy!Half to Whole
Just wanted to pop in here and say I am still alive :-P lol. Like Cassie, I have been kinda taking a break, still faithfully reading, but I don't have a lot to say... and I have been really busy getting school stuff ready etc. Those of you who were with me before June know that when school is in session I tend to be more of a lurker than a poster, though summer shifted that a lot.
Still working hard on trying, but GOFO every night is a strain for both of us. Our normal is probably an average of 3 times a week, and we were happy with that, but pushing it more than that takes so much fun out of it for both of us... sigh. We are determined to keep this ED schedule till we are sure I O though, because how do we know if we are really having trouble TTC if we can't even give it a real shot... so this month we are. I am hoping and praying (and having others do the same) that this is the month, partly because I am not sure I can keep up this intense schedule month after month.
So all that said... I haven't been feeling in a chipper posting etc. mood... and been busy... but I am still hoping for all of you as well.
Quick personals from memory-
Erin and Jenni- sorry about CD1... its never fun. I hope you both have some good consolation prizes (hoping this will catch on, I seem to find a consolation prize each month we did not catch the egg... like a manicure, a new shirt etc. Try it... its a excuse to buy something for yourself).
Jen and Cassie- hope you start our month out with some BFPs!
Mary- sorry about that person who so rudely got you mixed up. Even if its an honest mistake, its hard when you are working on it, and someone accidentally thinks you are... you almost want to say... I wish!
Alyssa- you asked something about testing... I am more on the wait until closer to your period time because getting your hopes up and crushed with a BFN is worse than with spotting (for me, I think its a personal preference). My goal is to make it to the countdown bar on FF. (doesn't always happen... but its a goal.
That's all I can remember atm... but Hi! to everyone I didn't mention. As I said before, still reading... just more into lurkdom, but you have my chart... and I don't have a lot more to say than that ;-)
Good luck testing ladies!
I don't think the 60% is necessarily true- especially if you are charting. As you can see from this chart
Woo! All of a sudden this thread exploded :D
Dee - good luck with the 14 day GOFO fest! I don't know if you chart CM, but I find it really helps me figure out when my O is coming, so the GOFO fest doesn't have to be nearly as long. But, GOFOing for 14 days can't be that bad ;)
Mary - my gosh...that was the worst possible timing for that question :( I'm so sorry people are such heartless jerks sometimes. The problem is she probably doesn't even get how dumb that was to ask. (((hugs)))
Erin - Welcome back! Boo for AF showing up (especially for the car ride). Yay for a fresh cycle though!
Jen - thank you for your support. Yay for a new plumbing system and kitchen tap! I can see how that would make you want to redo your entire kitchen.
Lisa - sending you lots of *baby dust* this cycle. Good luck with heading back to school
Ash - thanks so much for clearing up the stats. Those numbers sound like those in TCOYF as well. And, like you said, people who are charting are miles ahead, since it's all about the timing.
AFM - Not much to say! Just hanging out, waiting!
Thanks to Katie, Tara, and Joelle for my wonderful siggies!
ERIN - Yay for making it to Kansas. I've made that drive. Long and booooring! Did you see the gigantic ball of yarn on the way? Sorry to hear AF showed, but glad you've got a good attitude about this next one!
JEN - fancy new faucets are fun. :) I can see how that would lead to wanting a whole fancy new kitchen. No baby by next year, whole new kitchen. I like that idea... I think no baby by next year, a month in Greece. :)
LISA - I hear ya on the GOFO ED strain. It's hard, huh? Especially when you're temping every morning, just waiting for that temp to go up. Hope your school year is starting off well!
ASH - thanks for the links to those articles. It's good to know the stats, although I kind of prefer living in my fairy tale world where we will all get PG within 6 months, or way less. SIGH.
ALYSSA - Hi! GL waiting! :)
AFM - Why didn't I O yesterdaaaaay! *whine* I've never O'd later than CD19, and here I am at CD20 with no rise in sight. We had such nice timing this month, but that's all going to fall apart if my temps don't go up soon. Getting irritated. Starting to think seriously about that month in Greece...
Mary – I’m sorry about the insensitive comment at your meeting, I’m pretty sure it would upset me too.
Well the itching has stopped today! I just applied some external cream and it seemed to work. I read that sometimes itchiness is a symptom of extra blood flow down south. I'm also very lightly spotting brownish/pinkish blood which NEVER happens before AF. When she comes, it's full force, no pre-AF spotting at all. So its a little bizarre and I can't help but think implantation spotting...even though it happens so rarely. So we'll see I guess...wait and see, wait and see.
Thanks Katie for my siggy!

Hmm...according to the chart I have a 52% chance of conceiving in 1 year, not 55%...so I was off by 3% ;-)
That makes me feel better - NOT!
Luckily, I had a baby already and it took 4 cycles (6 mos) to conceive so I'm hopeful of a repeat.
Fingers crossed...wait...I need those to type so forget it!
