Hi everyone - I know I haven't been around the board much lately, but I guess that's to be expected. DH and I are doing the best we can given the situation, and each day is getting a little easier. We are looking forward to Christmas vacation with our families.
I had blood work done yesterday, and my beta levels are coming down as they should be (it was 12000 last week, and 208 yesterday). I will get another blood test done in the new year, and hopefully my levels will be much lower.
During this process I found out that I have A-negative blood, which can pose a problem if I'm carrying a baby with any positive blood type. So, I was given a shot yesterday to help with this.
We will probably TTC again the cycle after this one, depending how we feel. Sometimes we don't want to try ever again, but that feeling is steadily going away and is replaced by wanting to bring our baby back to us.
Thank you to everyone for your wonderful comments and support over the last week, both on the board and on my blog. It really means a lot to both of us, especially the stories of those of you who have gone through this before.
Lots of (((hugs))) and baby dust to you all. Merry Christmas, and I hope 2010 brings your dreams to life!
