waiting another month, so bummed

Hi gals, i'm pretty bummed right now about having to cancel my IUD appointment once again. The first time I just had schedule conflicts and we weren't quite ready to ttc anyway. Well the plan was this month, my appointment is set for monday ovulating mid month..... :( We would be able to tell the family at my DD's birthday...

A white water rafting trip we have had planned got pushed to another date and changed to a more difficult river so it wouldn't be a good idea pregnant. My DH really wanted to wait one more month and do this trip together so I compromised.... even though the only thing I want to do is TTC!! I know it will be fun but I had my heart set.

One month is nothing, I know, but now I have to call and cancel again which just sucks. I wish I could just get it out but I have a 500 deductable

Thanks Kate. Agreed... a $500 deductable IS crazy. We pay so much every paycheck for it now anyway, we shouldn't have to pay such a high deductable. With my last pregnancy we didn't have an appointment until January and then delivered in July. Now i'm worrying about the fact that this pregnancy will be over two different years which means deductable twice. Ugr. Hopefully this new job DH has been offered has better benefits and he takes it. That would be wonderful. I guess one more month wouldn't be so bad but i'm definitely ready to be preggo! We will pay the money if we have to!

Aww Meagan what a disappointment! These months are always the longest ever, too. :-P Hang in there!

Ugh, that is frustrating! I know one month is technically a short period of time in the long run but when you're looking forward to something it sure goes by slowly!!

Too funny on the rafting, my DH wanted to go to WV in the fall to do the Gauley river. I said no and that I hoped to be pregnant by then so I didn't want to schedule an adventure trip. He said "maybe we should put off trying until after then". Ha! I gave him "the look" and told him to go pack sand and that was that. :) If it was a trip we had already scheduled and was only a month out I'm sure I'd have a different answer but geez! I think he just said it to get a reaction out of me (DH's know just how to piss us off, dont they?)

I hope the wait goes by fast for you - and enjoy your rafting trip in the meantime!
