Are you WTT again?

Did you have your baby and now are WTT for another child? Don't forget about the WTT board!!
Basically, I think things have gotten slower there after so many of us moved here, and more of them are moving over here all the time. Ash did an amazing job of getting new people on the board (as I think many of us recall), but it can be hard to find new people all the time.
If that board "dries up", ours could, too--some of you might have already noticed how much slower our TTCing thread has gotten.
SOOO, if you are once again waiting, it would be great if you could check out WTT sometimes as well, post a re-intro if you need to, answer questions, join a WTT group if you know when you will be TTCing again, etc.

I do think though that this (WTTG) board won't dry up - yes, some of us leave when they have their babies or when they get PG, but mostly I feel it's a place for everyone as we cover WTT, TTC, PGcy and mummyhood here. You really get to know everyone here and I think that's why people tend to stay.
In a few years we'll probably have posts like "Help, my baby wants his girlfriend to stay overnight" or "Which college should my baby go to?" ;-)

I don't think any of US are going anywhere (we love this board!!), but I think the more we can support their board the better off we will be.
Maybe I can mention to Becki what you guys are saying and she can try to generate more topics for people that have kids already as well. I KNOW there are people there who are WTT for another child, so maybe they feel similarly to you guys!

Hey guys, checking in here. Thanks for your thoughts and enthusiasm for your hometown of WTT!
I do miss everyone a ton who has come over to the Grads board and not looked back, but if you're not feeling like WTT is the place to come back, that's completely OK. I feel that waiting to try for your first - while that's not the only status of posters by any stretch, I think it's like half - is a very unique time in our lives and of course it is a very different experience the second-plus time around.
I think, in society, it's a population that's getting larger, because more women are waiting longer in their lives to have children while they get careers underway. So it's something worth examining - and those of us WTT for our first have that specific longing, daydreaming and wishing in common while trying to reach goals first. To me, that's what the board is about at its core.
It doesn't seem that slow to me, actually - I go on there and just about every day and there's a new introduction! Spring is in the air and everyone's thinking baby! I certainly am. I do need to focus on making people stay, but it's a transient board, where a lot of people come in and are waiting for a couple of months, then move on; whereas once you're a Grad, you're always a Grad.
Anyhow, I will certainly take your suggestions into consideration. Thanks ladies! I wish it was sooner that I was joining you!

I agree, WTT is definitely not slow, and while the grads board is by no means slow, we do not often get a lot of brand new intros!
So we just need to get more people on that board that are graduating, LOL!!

Currently I suppose I am WTT for #2. So I should go and check out the WTT board. Although It is hard enough to keep up with this board, I don't think I can handle two at a time!

LOL Anna!! I totally hope it is this way too. This is a very special place for me, and I really think we can support each other through everything related with motherhood, from TTC to grandchildren!
