BRU screwed up

I didn't know where the most appropriate place for this was, so I'll just stick it in this folder.
My mil passed away in Jan and my fil is clueless about baby planning/showers and gifts. He talked to my mom and she said she would take care of getting a nice gift from my mil and fil for the baby. Well my fil didn't realize that my mom was keeping it a surprise until my shower in a few wks and he told me. Well he 'bought' us the convertible car seat and travel system from our registry.
My parents ordered the seat and travel system. When it got delivered, BRU dropped off 2 seats and a travel system. My mom was going to call and have one returned, but after looking on the invoice from BRU, they had marked that she ordered 2 seats and a travel system even though her order form only had 1 of each. So now, dh and I don't have to buy a second seat for when William outgrows the carrier.
Sucks to be BRU, but great to be me right now. That saves $200 later on.





















Wow, this is the only time I have heard of BRU screwing up in a good way! That rocks :).

They screwed up my cotbed delivery - but only timewise! I got a text saying they'd deliver between noon and 6pm the next day. They arrived at 7am (!) and just dropped it off (didn't even carry it upstairs or gave us time to check the boxes). I sent a complaint email to BRU hoping for some freebies for the screw-up, but only got a response "thank you for your feedback" :-(
P.S. Had to edit my message - how is it you can say "screw up" but not "c0ck up"??
