I watched the Royal Wedding this morning, and loved it. The dress was gorgeous and I liked the wispered comments between Will and Kate... it made them look more real. The kisses were a bit cold though.

I caught snippets of it on CNN after we got up. The wedding was already over and they were driving to the palace. Then I missed the kisses because babe and I were taking DH to work and then swimming. So I've caught a lot of replay mostly.

It looked really lovely though. She is gorgeous and he is just so stunningly handsome. I loved her dress, her hair, their smiles and whispers. I think the kisses were probably very typical of how they will present themselves to the world, very sweet but private in nature...Prince William hates the media and the spotlight so I imagine they will try to be more private than his parents. It was really neat though, I love weddings.

Oooh yes I watched it! I'll confess to being a Royalist. So I watched the whole thing from arriving at the Abbey to the kiss on the balcony, and will probably switch the telly on for the highlights later. Oh and we just had the most horrible thunderstorm with rain and hail showers - how lucky were they with the weather this morning!
I think Will & Kate are well matched and have certainly waited long enough to be sure this is the right decision. Of course she's gotten a lot of flak for being middle class but hopefully this will now stop.

I watched the vows before I left for work this morning. Lovely!

Mari--I read somewhere that they had to make sure the kiss was angled perfectly so everyone could see it. That may be why it seemed cold.

I got up early and watched it! I loved it. It's so nice to see Royals from our generation getting married, and I just love weddings in general. I thought her dress was perfect for the occasion, and you could really see their happiness in their glances at each other and such. I've been watching more stuff all day long because I'm just in love with them now :) I also found out they'll be coming to Canada in June, so if they're close enough we might try and see them!

I watched up to the time they got back to the palace. They looked perfect together. Mixed emotions for me. I think the kiss can't be too special because of the way things are. But you could tell they were both happy. Beautiful.

Liz, I didn't know that!! Anyway, I saw it (the kiss) again on the news and thought that kissing in front a million people isn't the best for setting the mood. Besides I suppose if they did a more lingering kiss the media would start talking about inapropiate PDA, right?
