Hi all! I've been thinking lately that I really should start working out. At the moment I have no car, and most gyms are far from home, so that is not an option. I can walk, taking Fede with me in the stroller, but it is winter here, and some days I don't want to expose Fede to the cold weather.
So I thought that maybe I could get a work out DVD, and do stuff at home. Any suggestions? Is there anything for post partum gym?

No suggestions Mari! Though babies are more resilient to the cold than you might think. You probably could go for a walk most days (as long as it isn't SUPER cold) with Fede well-bundled!! Sometimes people go walking in malls here in the winter--I don't know if you have a big indoor mall near you.
I'm not sure beyond that, though, but I'm sure others will have suggestions. I know Megan is really into certain kinds of exercise.
Do you have or can you get a Wii Fit?
I love my Wii Fit. Especially the yoga, it's great for stress.
YAY EXERCISE!!!
Okay, so I like to exercise as Adrienne pointed out, hehe...
I heartily second the Jillian Michaels' recommendation. The 30 Day Shred and Yoga Meltdown are great for squeezing in a workout during baby naps. Her other workouts are a little bit longer, but they're great, too. They're all extremely effective!
The other thing I like to do is run. Do you have a jogging stroller? We got ours for pretty cheap and it works great.
Oh, and I do less strenuous yoga a few times a week. I like the Yoga Zone series, because each DVD has two short (15-20 min.) workouts, so again I can squeeze them in during naptime.
Oh, also, I do the hundred push-ups and two hundred squats and two hundred sit-ups challenges. You can find them at hundredpushups.com.
GL!
