I used to post on the WTT board under a different sn, reikai, a few years back. I got engaged on January 14th, 2009. I got pregnant on accident in April. I have PCOS and only ever ovulated on CD 18 or 19 and the one month I stopped all vitamins and temping and stopped eating healthy I ovulate on CD 14 and get pregnant, on a surprise trip that was never supposed to happen. My fiance was building a house in LA and decided to use his tax return for a surprise visit to see me. I had an eventful for pregnancy. I got my first BFP 7 days before my missed period, and I only tested because I started throwing up that morning. I didn't stop throwing up until 37 weeks pregnant, lost my job from being so sick, and started having gall bladder attacks in my 3rd tri. I had severe hyperemesis gravidarum. At 12 weeks I was told by 3 people they could not find the heart beat or detect movement, went in for the super u/s (the one that costs almost a million and is really good quality, yes they told me how much it cost to reassure me) and he was hanging out down under my hip. He was head down my entire pregnancy and was one of the most active babies my midwife had ever seen. My son Jensen Troy was born on his due date, January 9th, 2010. He was 7 lbs 11 oz, and 19 inches long. I only gained 19lbs my whole pregnancy and lost 10 in my last 2 weeks. I was in labor for over a month, had something called prodromal labor (also known as pre-labor, or false labor, although it wasn't false) and they thought I would have him before Christmas. I was 4 cm's dilated before they finally let me stay at the hospital on January 8th. Made it to 6 cm's where my water broke naturally before I needed an epidural. It wore off on one side, and I tore down the other with a second degree tear. One month post partum I had to have emergency gall bladder surgery to remove it. I am finally recovered and just enjoying my little miracle. I had one m/c and a chemical pregnancy before him so while he was a surprise, we were thrilled we got our little red headed baby. In other news I am getting married on the 6th and my son will be 3 months on the 9th! Hope it's ok if I start posting here :)

Wow what a crazy story!! Of course it is okay if you start posting here, and congrats on your upcoming marriage!! Your son is beautiful.

I am Adrienne, 26, and DH is James, 31, and I will be 8 weeks tomorrow after TTCing for three years and having several early losses and a blighted ovum. I am nervous but also hopeful that this is really it!

Welcome to the board--there is a baby section, feel free to start posting away!!

Welcome Amy! Thanks for sharing your story with us and I'm glad you moved over to the Grads board! :) Nice to meet you! Jensen is so cute! Cograts on his arrival! :)
My name is Alyson, I have two beautiful babies, Isabella Violet (8.6.05) and Tristan Alexander (10.24.08) and we live in Sunny Florida.

I had hyperemesis gravidarum really bad with my second pregnancy with my son. I was hospitalized as well for 2 months in the 3-5 month of my pregnancy. It was terrible. I lost 18 lbs in the first 6 months of my pregnancy. and then ended up gaining that back plus another 50 lbs! Don't ask me what was up with my body during this pregnancy I was back and forth back and forth. I ended up being really sick again the last 2 and 1/2 months of the pregnancy. I think I only felt good for like 2-3 weeks maybe. Ugh!

Anyways .. Hope to get to know you and your beautiful baby boy better. Welcome .. Talk to you soon!

I am so excited for you! I knew you back when you were still waiting, although I think I joined right when you started TTC and I didn't stay long or post much so I am not surprised you don't remember me. I am sending you tons of healthy baby vibes!!

Thanks for the welcome! I can't wait to actually TTC, but I am terrified to be so sick again! I lost 15 lbs, gained that back +29, then lost 10 in less then a week before I delivered (my nurse thought someone had made a mistake when she weight me lol!) and then lost 22 lbs right after delivery. So my stomach has suffered in more then one way and I am hoping to skip that the next time, even if it means gaining more weight lol!
