Today I talked to DH about "popping out a couple more kids" and he smiled..... he knew I was serious, he didn't say woah or anything, and then he talked to me about which rooms they would be in and where the furniture would go while we were cleaning up the kids

Me and Rob also talk a lot about when to have the next one and we think we are going to try in January. If not in January, we are definitely trying in 2011. We plan on putting all our tax refund into a baby savings. I think it would be fun to have 2 under 3 and have them be close. We eventually want 4-5 kids but we will probably space #3 by 3-4 years, and then have #3 and #4 close in age too.

You live in NC? Lucky lucky. Hehe... I imagine those trips in the future, 4 kids, happy semi-controlled chaos....oh the fun and stories you will have, I bet ya'll will have a blast! It really does seem like there is something for everyone there which I love. I'm really into the architecture of the homes there. I could spend the entire vacation just looking at the houses!!

We're staying in Charleston (can't remember where but it has to be a Starwood property because we have so many points!). It should be fun but interesting...me, DH and 4 kids. Partyin' like rock stars I tell ya.

I've only been there once before but we picked it because it has something for everyone in our family - the beach, the USS Yorktown, and shopping! That and its pretty close, we live in NC. I'll give you the low down when I get back!! :)

Lisa- How awesome that your DH still will be okay with having as many kids as you let him! Yes, we are lucky women! Men who love kids are definitely the best!

The 4th of July in Charleston?? I’m so jealous! That sounds perfect. Are you staying in Charleston or Folly Beach or something? Do you go there a lot?

Kate- It’s so silly and just odd that they consider 35 “high risk” or “advanced maternal age”. First of all… they need to change the name! Lol… second of all 35 is still so young, the times have just changed so much! I’m sure you will handle pregnancy just fine… or just as badly as the rest of us;)

How amazing that ya’ll both want to be a foster parents! That would be life changing and so fulfilling.

Jessica- Thanks!! I hope so too. I love love love your Siggy!!

Adrienne- That’s awesome for you too!! I think having them close together would make it so much fun but definitely difficult too… it would be really really cool though for the kids! I was an only child so I really love to see that brotherly-sisterly love!!

That is awesome Meagan! I also want several kids with some of them spaced pretty close and it was definitely exciting for me when I could tell DH had really gotten on board with that!

I hope you get lucky soon, KUP!

Yeah!! So glad you are both on the same page. I am so happy for you both.

DH and I have talked about having more after the next baby, and it will probably be a close spaced pregnancy. But it will really depend on my health and how I am able to handle the first pregnancy. (I'm nearing that magical age where they start to consider you a high risk pregnancy).

DH and I are both from TOK families and love having children around. We have even discussed foster parenting in the future.

So exciting that DH is on board not just with TTC for #3 but #4 too!! My DH already has 4 kids (my DS and he has 3 from his 1st marriage who we share custody of) and he'd have 4 more if I let him! Gotta love men who love kids, they're the best. :)

I love Charleston too! We're going for 4th of July weekend this year, which will probably be the hottest place on the earth but that's ok, we'll have fun at the beach and the pool.

Btw, there is nothing cuter than a little girl in a big fluffy tutu, that will be so much fun!

Hope your BFP comes soon so you can get started on this great plan!
