Love and Logic?

Have any of you read and used Parenting with Love and Logic? It's a good book. I read it at this time last year, and I am reading it again to get refreshed on the techniques. I love that it respects the child and helps him/her learn to be responsible for his/her choices and actions. There are aspects of it (specific suggestions in the book) that I would never use, but for the most part, I like the approach and appreciate that helps parents teach without yelling and belittling.

Thanks for the reminder, I need a refresher course! I really liked the logic that they use to deal with behaviors, and have used some of the techniques in the past. Actually first heard about it from a psychologist who was working with my oldest who is ADD. Their techniques just make sense, kwim? I'm having some behavior struggles with my 9 yo, so it's time to focus on using them effectively again. I've gotten too lax lately.

Sorry for the slow reply. The authors are Foster Cline and Jim Fay. You'll want to get the 2006 revised edition. You can get really inexpensive ones online (assuming the ship to your country!).
It really works, Mari! I've been really focusing on using the techniques in the last week or so, and even little Charlotte responds well to them.
