Need a Peanut Butter Cake Recipe

Okay ladies, DH's 30th BDay is coming up in a few weeks and I am taking him out to dinner with friends, and I have his present ordered (Bacon + Chocolate Gift Basket, he is going to LOVE it) but I want to make him his favorite thing which is a Peanut Butter Cake.

The recipe he has made before is good, but he has made so many changes to it and doesn't have it all written down, so I need some help if any of you ladies have a great Peanut Butter Cake Recipe that I can use!

Know that I am a pretty good baker, I don't have a lot of the supplies, but can figure it out.

Thanks in advance!

I've made a german chocolate cake before, and just mixed in peanut butter with vanilla frosting, generally do it with cupcakes and top it with a partial pb cup.

Chocolate would probably work too. I just know that yellow is not a good idea.

Liz - Thanks, that sounds yummy!! I could probably do it with a Chocolate cake too! It sounds a lot like my friends Better Than Sex Cake Recipe. :)

Jessica--

I make one that's more peanut butter icing, but it soaks into the cake.

Bake a WHITE cake in a 9x13 pan. (I cheat and use a mix because when I want cake I want it fast!)

Once baked, jab it all over with a fork, unless you really want it to be full of PB. Then use a knife.

While still warm, melt a heaping tablespoon on peanut butter with a can of sweetened condensed milk. You have to keep stirring, or else it sticks something awful.

Pour evenly all over the cake. Best if served warm, but it's just as good cold.
