None this summer, but in Sept. we will be going to the Remembering the Brave Ceremony and Run for Remembrance in Denver, CO area. It will be our first trip and he'll get to meet several of my friends for the first time. :-)
Do you have any trips planned for this summer? The only thing we have planned for the summer is to go up to Toronto for the Canada Day long weekend in July. I don't have any vacation time stored up, since I just started my new job June 1st.
Are there any vacations you are excited to do with your baby/kid as they grow up? So many! We totally want to do a road trip to the maritime provinces. "Locally" (okay, North America), we want to take Evan to the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, Washington DC and so many other places. We'd also love to take him to Europe and other places, depending on what opportunities come up (we both go to 1-2 conferences a year, so if they're somewhere cool we try to make vacations around them).
We didn't plan any vacations for this summer because of the baby coming and our uncertain financial situation. Since DH got the Florida job, we still aren't doing a summer vacation (too much to do!!!), but I think we will plan a 3 day Disney World trip in the Fall since we will live so close! I'm excited for that :)
I dream of doing a lot of traveling with our children. I want to see much more of the USA, and someday, I hope to go to Ireland and Belgium.
Do you have any trips planned for this summer? N/A (winter here)
Are there any vacations you are excited to do with your baby/kid as they grow up? Oh yes! I really want to take my family to Disney World, but I want to wait until all my kids have an age were they understand and remember it. Also somewhere in the Caribbean, Iguazu falls, and Patagonia.
Well, we just came back from visiting DH's family in Turkey, which is always a great trip. I'm so glad I married someone with family outside of the US so we have an excuse to travel, lol! I LOVE to travel. Next, Selin and I are flying to Montreal on the 28th to visit my dad and family up there. DH is driving up a few days later, we'll stay the weekend, and then all drive back together on the 4th. I'm hoping it will take us less than 17 hours this time, lol. No other trips planned at this point, although DH and I would like to finally do an overnight getaway, somewhere local. We desperately need a date night but that's for another post. :-P

We don't travel a lot in the US, sadly, but I would just like Selin to get used to traveling in general and love it as much as I do. I'm sure we'll do a trip to Disney someday, but not until she's a little older. DH has never been so he's excited to go as well! I'd also like to see the Northwest and more of the East Coast.
I am glad we started traveling with Selin at a young age because she seems to travel fairly well. Her first road trip (17 hours) was at 3 months old and her first flight (2 - 2 hour flights with a layover) was at 7 months. We just did a 10-11 hour flight with her to/from Turkey and she did much better than I was anticipating.

Do you have any trips planned for this summer? Nope, don't think my OB would let me go further than a couple hours at this point anyway.
