Ladies, I know that you will understand and this is a complete venting post...so feel free not to read.

But I stupidly put on my facebook on Monday that we found out if peanut was a boy or a girl and now I have people emailing me, texting me, IM'ing me about the sex and when they can know. and I am like seriously!! Just wait your F'ing turn! I am so freaking annoyed. if it were up to me we would have told our parents on Monday....and now because of all this stuff with DH's work, he might still have to fly out tonight.

GRRR!! STOP ASKING ME!! My current status on facebook is: To all those wanting to know if peanut is a boy or a girl...Please stop asking me. You will find out when I tell you...

and I feel like it's over the top, but I also want to put on there, if anyone asks me you aren't finding out until next week.....

Thanks for listening!

Yeah, that's really annoying...and that's exactly why Facebook is annoying too. I have just stopped putting stuff like that as updates because clearly people don't get that there is probably a reason for posting a vague update :)

So, you still don't know when DH is flying out? How annoying!!

I think that is a totally reasonable FB status!! If I were you I would say something more like: Anyone else that asks me if peanut is a boy or girl will not find out until he/she is born!!

And I would stick to it, too. I think you are being perfectly nice.

Anyway, I am patiently waiting my turn . . . :-)

Ugh, people are annoying! I thought your original FB post about not telling anyone until you told your parents was quite clear (and reasonable). I can't believe people aren't respecting that!

Hugs!

Thanks Megan - I thought so too...I think people were getting mixed up with when we were telling our parents...

On a good note....DH isn't flying out today so we will get to have our dinner with the parents tonight. I have the house cleaned up, the potatoes made. DH has the steaks marinating...so we should be all set.

And it's beautiful day with the sun out, all the windows open in the house! I LOVE IT!

Maybe if you just posted something about waiting to tell the world until you tell your family/parents because you want them to know first? I think people would be really understanding of that. Maybe they don't know why you're waiting and that's why they keep bugging you? Although now it looks like you've had the chance to tell your family so maybe it's a non-issue at this point.

ETA: Nevermind, I just read the previous posts and I guess you already did post that you weren't telling until your parents knew. Just ignore me and my insane PGcy brain! LOL.
