Trip photos...finally!

Sorry for the delay. I finally got around to filtering through the 700+ photos (!!!) we took on our trip to Turkey to visit DH's family at the end of May/beginning of June. I narrowed it down to 94 for your viewing pleasure but please don't feel obligated to look at every single one! I love travel and photography so I tend to go a little crazy, hee hee.

We were mainly in Izmir, where DH's family is, which is on the Aegean Sea, on the western coast of Turkey, but also spent time in a summer resort area called Cesme (chesh-meh). Beautiful!!

Great shots! It looks so beautiful there! I love how half the shots of Selin are of her sleeping :) Though I love that one with her and the sign that says "Selin" on it!

Thanks everyone!

Alyssa - We stumbled upon a small cafe in the summer resort area called 'Selin Cafe' so of course we had to stop for a tea and take a picture. ;-)

Jess - Thanks! Yeah, everyone lately is saying she looks like a mini-me. She definitely has DH's personality though, haha! Yep, that's my DH in the photos. He's such a goofball.

Ella - You guys should totally go! I LOVE Turkey. The people are so warm and friendly and the food? OMG - so good! It is expensive in the summer, but if you keep your eye on Turkish Airlines (thy.com) they sometimes run really good specials in the off season. You do need a visa to travel there. I bought mine from the consulate here for $50 something dollars and found out when we reached Istanbul that I could have purchased it there for like $20 something but we were running short on time connecting to our next flight so it's good I had purchased it at home. The airport security in Istanbul is insane - we went through like 4-5 checks, I think? The last time I was there (5 years ago), you had to carry your luggage with you through all the security checks but now they changed the rules (thank God!) and you only bring your carry on luggage. Cesme, the summer resort area,
