A new study has found that kids are not affected as negatively if their mothers work as previously thought, you can read more about it at this link: http://www.ivillage.com/why-working-moms-should-let-go-guilt/6-a-232807?ice=iv:mb:msg:mm.

There are so many things to feel guilty about when you are a mom, and I know that I've felt some guilt when I had to work full time.

I have terrble guilt about not being with Simon. On the nights I work I'm lucky if I get to see him and DH for 3 hours. I work 12 hours shifts over night right now so by the time I get home in the morning Simon and DH are gone. I go pick Simon up in the afternoon after I get some sleep. I get maybe 3 hours then its time for me to go to work.

How do I deal with it? Honestly between the situations at work right now I'm not dealing with it well.

Here is another article about the same study (I assume). It's nice to hear some positive things about going back to work after having a child, as many of us will or have too.
