Going back to work

Well after 9 yrs old doing in home childcare I am considering going back to work outside the home. I was heading that directions 3 yrs ago right before we got the call about adopting our 2nd son. I decided to stay home with him until he started kindy. But he is almost 3 now and I am thinking I might be ready to go back. I currently have 3 full time and one part time kindy kiddo right now. My part timer leaves in a couple of months and then I will have 3 full time Tues-Fri. Financially it makes more sense for me to go work at the hospital a couple of shifts a week and make the same or more $. I will have to pay childcare for mine but only a few hours a week since I will be working evenings. I am nervous about leaving the boys but really am ready for the change.

We all need a change every now and then. I totally understand the draw if you can make the same amount of money in two or three shifts as opposed to M-F, ten+ hours a day! PLUS, you get your house back. That's a biggie for us. :) Go for it! I would. :) And, this business is as such that if you want to come back eventually, you can. Good luck and let us know how it's going. Don't be a stranger to this board just because you're not "official" anymore. :) I'll be finished the beginning of June and hope they let me stay! lol Hugs. :)
