This 3 yo DCK whose parents insisted she was potty trained has peed and pooped her pants every single day since she started! Twice on the carpet that I just had cleaned! I told them monday that they need to send her in pull ups until I am convinced she is trained because i am not fond of cleaning pee & poop off my carpet but especially not when

Very frustrating! I would insist on pull-ups from parents. If they continue to refuse to bring them I would purchase some myself. And use them. It is worth the extra expense to keep your carpets- furniture etc clean. I am sorry you have to deal with that.

I totally agree with Sheryl with insisting on pull-ups until she's trained. ALSO, they need to be paying your "in diaper" rate. My rates don't change when they get out of diapers. I don't think that's fair to anyone--them OR us. When kids are first potty trained and sometimes for a long time after they're MORE work than kids in diapers. Also, parents may push kids who aren't ready to train because they want the lower rate. I just have a flat rate for everyone, regardless of age or diaper status. Works best for me.

Where I do differ from Sheryl is buying them on your own if the parents don't. I'd make them buy them. I'd flat out tell them, "No pull-up, no care. My house, my rules." Sorry, I have no tolerance for things like that.

Good luck.
