H1N1 :(

Well- my Nathan has "presumed H1N1". He was tested for flu- doesn't have regular flu so they have to assume H1N1. They won't do further testing unless he is hopsitalized. They did a chest x-ray to rule out pnemonia. I am waiting to hear about that. He has severe asthma and is susecptable to illnesses.

He has a high fever, coughs etc. Aidan got a high fever and coughs Thursday- stayed home from school Friday and was sick all weekend. He is fever free and much better today. Most likely Nathan got it from him and Aidan got it at school. Do I call the school to tell them about this maybe H1N1??

I closed the daycare for a few days. I hope all of this blows over. My biggest fear is Nathan getting hospitalized for this. Please say a prayer.

Thanks!

UGH!

I have several openings and got a call for a FT infant! The parents wanted to meet tomorrow morning- they need care farely quickly. I can't have him come here with this flu. UGH. I put him off until Wed- but who knows. DARN IT.

Oh well- if it is meant to be it will be- right?

Oh, Sheryl! I'm so sorry your little guy is sick. NO fun! I'm sure the family of the infant will understand. Honestly, if I had an infant I wouldn't want to interview in a sick house. Could you possibly meet them somewhere else if they're in such a hurry? I know they'll want to see your environment, but you could do everything BUT a tour ASAP and then when you feel you've got things/germs under control at home do that part of the interview. I sure hope this infant works out. Like you said, if it's meant to be. Hugs, Girl.

Nathan is much better today- that Tamiflu is working. No fever right now. I decided to stay closed tomorrow too- just in case. I can give him an extra day to rest in a quiet home.

I will call that family to see if they want to schedule it for Thurs. I really don't want them here before then. I am scrubbing and trying to combat the germs- I wouldn't want them exposing their baby to this H1N1.

If they can't wait until thurs- then they weren't meant to be. I really believe in fate when it comes to these things.

Thanks for any prayers any of you sent out for him.
