How often is the TV on?

I had a parent upset with me the other day b/c her 18 month old now knew who Spongebob was and blamed it on me having the TV on once in awhile for my darcare kids. She seemed to insinuate that the TV should NEVER be on but that seems unrealistic to me. I really don't have it on that much, mostly on rainy days, and we still do lots of other activities- arts and crafts, music time, etc.
But that got me curious- do you ever put a video/DVD on for your home daycare kids?

Well, I don't run a daycare but imo, the mom is freaking out over nothing. Of course you're going to need to use the TV every once in awhile- especially on rainy days, like you said.
