Did anyone catch it last night? Sorry, I forgot to remind you all. The 2yo was the little guy I had last spring that I had to let go when my mom ended up in the hospital. He's with my best friend now (and actually went full time about a month or so ago!). The show was filmed last summer, and apparently they're still doing better! My youngest goes to school with the 16yo girl. He knows her, but not well. She's on the cheer squad and so is his girlfriend. I guess Mike did help them out. They sure needed it!
Again, sorry I forgot to remind everyone, but I actually forgot about it! Thankfully my mom recorded it so she could watch it. It was pretty good. It's really interesting watching a show like that when you actually know the family! Weird. :p

They were very dysfunctional, Deb. I don't know the dad (only met him once), but yeah, the mom is very negative, and always seems very frustrated. The 7yo used to come in when she'd pick the 2yo up and I hated it! He was SUCH a wild child!!! My best friend says mom makes him stay in the car now when she picks up the little guy. One thing they didn't show at all in the show was the fact that the 2yo has a speech problem, and in now in speech therapy. I tried to tel mom that a year ago!!! It took a "professional" to tell her (they did address it, just didn't show it at all) for her to do something about it.

The 11yo is really a sweetheart and a very sensitive soul, which really showed. I think dad tried really hard and did a good job. They never did say if mom every took the GED or not. I'll have to find out.

It also seemed to me that the older daughter was a real problem child.
