I got an email a little while ago from the mom of the 6yo who was pulled out because I didn't have any other little girls her age (other 6yo girl moved in Dec). She needs three weeks starting next Wed. Sorry, no room in the car since my mom moved out and I have to take all the little ones with to drop off and pickup. My best friend said her hubby took a call yesterday for a 6yo girl, and she hadn't gotten around to calling them back yet. She looked at the note and sure enough, it's them. I guess the teen they hired isn't working out. Oh well. They had it good here, she liked it here, we loved her, but I have no room now. I feel bad for the little girl, with all the changes and everything (which she really doesn't handle well, she's extremely shy), but not for the parents. They screwed up. Their bad, not mine. We shall see what happens.

I know you feel badly for the child, but at the same time dontcha love call backs like that when you can say sorry - no room! I mean seriously - were supposed to have sat around sobbing for her all thsi time and not fill the spot or otherwise move on? Soemtimes I think parents forget that you were in biz before they arrived and will be after they go. lol oh well. :o

I had a similar situation with a parent. I wouldnt watch her little girl the long hours she wanted so she pulled her out. Well I got a call a week later back from her. I accepted the girl back I didnt fill the spot in a week. The little girl is very sweet!
