Hello everyone my name is Gina, I have a home daycare. I have a question for all of you Daycare providers with websites. Would any of you know how to password protect parts of your site that has photos of the kids on it? I want to be able to post things they do but only let the parents see that part and not just anyone on the internet. Im a big stickler for safety. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Nice to meet you all also & I hope to be posting here a lot.

I use Shutterfly and it is perfect for protecting any info you dont want everyone to see. I have a folder there with all the parents contact info, collages of the kids etc that are only accessible with the password I give each parent at enrollment. Its free and very user friendly. They even have a classroom template which I love!

Most all of my parents are on Facebook as my friends. I upload their kids pics on there, in a private folder that only they and I can see. (There are a couple of parents that don't care so I'm not as hardcore with them.) I then tag them in all the pics so they'll have them on their wall. It's easier for us this way and they all love it.
