Tracey, is your hubby working with you, as in a fellow provider? That would be interesting. I'm not sure my hubby's cut out for it! lol I've met couples that have done it before, though. For some it works well. :) We're in our second week of spring break (our district has a weird schedule). It's nice not having to make Randy get up and out the door in the morning. He goes back next week and will have 8 weeks left until summer. Then starting the second week of June he has football practice every morning at 7:30am. At least it keeps him busy and from sleeping all day. :p

Enjoy your long weekend and the break! :)

DH got layed off last Friday, so I am using him! He has always been my back up assistant....now I am putting him to work. LOL!

He does well with the kids. But I think he is getting bored already!

LOL, Tracey! USE that man! :p Is he going to actively look for another job or are you going to "go big" with you child care? I know here with two full time providers I could get a large family license that would allow me 12 full time kids. That's a potential of $1800 a week with just one shift. There are people in my area that do that and provide care 24/7 and make a mint! I still think it'd be hard to support a family on that, though. Well, in my area anyway. The cost of living here is pretty high. Where I grew up in MI that'd be more than enough to live on. Good luck and crack that whip! lol
