Yes!  I am going to be reading a lot this long weekend because after a 4+ month wait, the library finally loaned me the new Stephen King book 11/22/63.  I read slowly so I don't miss anything, but when the book is 849 pgs that takes a while!  (It's the one about the guy who finds a way to go back in time to try to save President Kennedy from assassination.)  I just started it and I'm already hooked.  Just have to get the dishes, laundry, groceries, and bills out of the way first... Grr. :smileywink:

DH signed up for one fantasy football league online last night.  He is going to a different fantasy football draft party in person tomorrow.  He will watch every game with increased interest since he has money on the players.  And you thought I called him an 'armchair quarterback' for no reason, LOL!

I hope my Katie girl will use the 3 days off to get ahead on her homework since it's already piling up.  Time will tell!

How will you spend this long labor day weekend?

That's so fun that you started it too!  Stephen King is too good of an author if you ask me.  I couldn't walk in front of my car for years after I read Christine - way too scared it would start itself up and run over me, LOL.  Darn his good imagination (and mine).

Having support while you are working is a beautiful thing.  Take it when you can get it!

That said, you need the rest more so do it to it, Mama.  Happy Labor Day!

PS  I have almost recovered from all the congestion that came with my cold that I caught 12 days ago (most colds last 7 to 10 days), and now I start with ungodly cramps from Aunt Flo.  DH said I'm cursed and I believe him.  Time to cut me some slack, Mother Nature!

PS Again:  Katie woke me up at midnight with the hysterical announcement that she'd ruined all of her clothes.  She was tired and used bleach instead of detergent on a load with all colors.  I told her I should make her wait until fall for a new wardrobe, but obviously we will be clothes shopping this weekend despite my feminine troubles.  I also told her if she wakes me up for anything other than illness or fire (she already woke me at 11:15 to use the printer in my room for homework) that I was not going to take it well.  Sheesh.  My mom mentioned my going back to work when I was in Tampa losing money at the casino, but I told her that the teenagers are as needy as my elementary school kids and I wasn't kidding...
