Glad you had a great time anyways!!!!!  I'm sure your DH and kiddos are looking forward to you being home!  Just nice to get away sometimes!

Dylan is staying over night at a friends house tonight!!  He was up at 6:30 packing already..too cute!  Riley has Footbal practice tonight, nothing much planned for the weekend...just some yard work, laundry and groceries.....suppose to be a hot one this weekend...might have to turn the AC back on!!

I am home safe and reunited with my sweetie faces - hooray!

That is cute - what a big boy he is.  Claire didn't sleep over with a friend until she was 8, good for Dylan!

Enjoy that weather and your weekend!!

That's so fun that you got some reading in.  I have several of the Odd Thomas books on my shelf, but have yet to begin the series (looking forward to it though).

That is a lot to do so have the big kids help you.  It's their school experience so hopefully they are motivated to make it a smooth start.

My Katie girl starts 11th grade Monday and is ready except for the fact that we are waiting for the FedEx truck to bring her new backpack today (nothing like cutting it close).  It's made by North Face so she is thrilled because that's what "everyone" has, LOL.  Gosh, I do not miss the days when it was painful to be 'odd man out.  I told her if the truck doesn't show, she can use Matt's old backpack for a day or two. ' He carried it for 3 or 4 years, but since he rarely brought books home the thing is in great shape.  (Katie only carried hers for 2 years and it looks like it's been through a war, complete with a giant hole.)

Hopefully you can grab a nap or two when the baby does so you don't feel like a zombie mom.

Katie's return to high school went smoothly, although the bus schedule was a disaster.  They're supposed to drop the high school and middle school kids off, and then come round again for the elementary school children.  Well they did that, but were 25 minutes late for us in the morning and 1 hour and 5 minutes late dropping them off in the afternoon.  Thank goodness I'm not working or I would have been flipping out at losing 1.5 hours of work time just hanging out at the bus stop.  I hope they work the kinks out soon.  The children have a long enough day as it is!
