It's definitely a Monday.
Don't want them to miss out on Lunch!!!
Ugh, I have moles that need looked at and removed... I get them caught on clothing, hubby's wedding ring, my bra... but, last time they cut them out I fainted. I don't do that sort of thing well (very vaso vagal). Best of luck to you!
Will is our kid who leaves things at home -- choir shirts, homework, thumb drives... We're not far from school and luckily I'm usually able to accommodate him, but I don't prefer leaving home for this kind of thing during my work day. Glad you were able to help the boy out! :)
Jake is home today not feeling well, was up all night just feeling puny. He's watching all of the Star Wars today and drinking ginger ale and eating saltines. He sounds funny, so we'll see where this leads. Nothing is swollen just yet, but he's a bit warm. If I have to go to the doc again this week for a last minute visit, I'm going to lose it. We've had too many of those and I hate it when I have to tell my counterparts that I've got to be out yet again. I'd hate me right now if I were them.
Had a doc appt for Libby this morning -- she's been having chest pains for OVER A FREAKIN' YEAR and hadn't mentioned to me, so got her an appt to the PCP asap when she told me Friday afternoon. EKG or EEG whatever was fine, but she has to go to a neuro. She has tightness when she lays on her left side, plus she has chronic headaches (not migraines like I have), so they're going to see what's what there. IF the doc gives us another referral since this first one doesn't do sleep studies, which is what doc ordered. Saints in heaven preserve me. And, since Libby is 19 and thinks she doesn't need me to do everything with her, I didn't go in to see the doc with her, so I'm so in the dark about what the hell is going on, which has me very upset.
Oh, and the icing on our cake was that Libby had lab work done, and she fainted and seized and spent the next 30 minutes throwing up. So she's in bed, too. Yeah, she's vaso vagal as well. We're awesome with blood or icky body stuff in general. :)
So. Just another manic monday here for sure! :)
No idea what else is in store for us. Shaking out so far to be an easy work week, but that's subject to change. I have enough to keep me busy for the next two days and that's it. I hope something comes in. I wonder sometimes if everyone is going easy on me because I'm pregnant. Probably not, but it's been so quiet on my end for a good while now. I prefer to be just busy enough to not lose my mind. LOL.
Hope everyone has a great week!
Mary, that's nice!
My Matt is 18 and hasn't let me go back with him at the doc for over a year.
I can kind of see where Matt wouldn't necessarily want mom in there. I think that's a boy thing. :) But, I dropped the ball with Libby. I should've just gone back there and then I wouldn't be sitting here wondering what we're doing. Never again when it's something out-of-the ordinary.
Turns out the doc or nurse put the wrong CPT code down and Libby needs a neuro eval and an MRI, so we've got an appt with her neuro close to the end of March. It's the only open new pt. appt, but they've flagged her for a move-up, so I have to call every few days to see if they have any cancelations. Our insurance starts over on April 1 with our big fat $3K deductible (which we've met for this year), so the sooner I get her in the better. We are literally hemorrhaging money over here. Hubby has a trip business trip coming up in March
"Anyhoo. Thanks for listening."
That's what we're here for - anytime!
The paper discovery factory.....they have been learning about paper and making it....he's excited!!
