Okay, I put the Halloween snapshots up on the blog under Newer Pics at the top right:  www.mhannah.typepad.com

I got to see Mary's Halloween photos on Facebook!  The boys looked so happy, almost as happy as they looked in the Disney pics.  Cool

The big thing this week for the country will be the election of course.  An interesting observation since the polls are so close was that no matter who wins, half as many people will have voted against him as they did for him.  I think we usually rally behind the winner regardless, LOL.

What's going on with you this week? Smile

PS  Brie, I hope your dryer can be fixed easily.  We certainly can't live without ours either and that's without a baby in the house!

Love the pics of the kids! I've never looked at your blog before. I skimmed a bit and saw the toothbrush thing and LOL'd. I use hubby's ALL the time. I misplace mine so often. I make the kids brush their teeth in the bathroom, but I am often multitasking so I walk around and sometimes it ends up in the kids' bathroom, sometimes it's by the sink, and sometimes it's somewhere dumb, like on my dresser. What?! I don't even know how it ends up where it does sometimes (maybe during retrieval, then I set it down to do something else I guess). I can always count on hubby's to be where it is supposed to be, though.

Talked to Dad about my dryer, and he thinks it's just the belt and not the motor (I can hear it working, just not tumbling). So, we're not going with the extended warranty for $209 -- Dad things we won't spend near that. Also decided the reason it broke it because it's a cheap dryer and we overload it. Will be more careful in the future. And honestly, were it not a gas dryer, I'd probably tackle it myself. But, gas scares me, and Dad has never worked on one, so he cannot walk me through it. Too bad I'll be at the doc when the guy is here most likely, otherwise I'd watch and learn. Oh well. I cannot be expected to fix everything. Wink

On tap this week is work (always), and a check with my doc to make sure the Mirena is ok (I'm finally ending a period that began a week early and has gone for 13 dang days, kill me). I'm sure this is just part of the adjustment period (cannot remember if it was this bad the first time I got it in 2001), but good grief. I've actually not had a single normal cycle day since I got it installed and that was almost a month ago.

Hopefully the work-week won't be quite as hectic as it has been. Need a smidge of a break before things get nuts during w/o T'giving. And that'll be here before we know it!

Have a good week, everyone!

Okay, now I know you and my DH are coming from the same place - but you're still WRONGO! Hahaha.  Toothbrushes are sacred, hands off! Laughing

Glad you could view the pics!

I've been going through a dumb streak - forgetting stuff, misplacing things, not getting a particular thing I left the room or house for.  The other evening DH had my van all day and returned it without any gas - typical.  When I was at the gas station that night, I dropped my debit card at the pump (!).  Luckily I missed it when I got home (a miracle) and it had been turned in when I called (bigger miracle).

So today's dumb thing has taken over the day, I kid you not. The hamster hasn't been drinking so I cleaned his cage and "shrunk it" by removing some of the extra tunnels where he tends to lounge about in his filth.  Well, he was so frantic to get into the old expanded areas that he popped the lid off and escaped.  No big deal except I have 3 cats.  So I got to spend the day looking for his tiny butt.  I finally heard him INSIDE the kitchen cabinets just before the school bus came, phew!  I just knew he'd been cat chow.

Well, it's been hours and he won't come out.  Not sure if it's because he's sick or because he's sleeping.  He isn't just in the cabinets which I emptied, he has gotten like in the wall behind them - hard to explain, harder to access. If I ever see him again, I may kill him!  It's all my fault, but that's what I get for trying to save him in the first place. Ugh!

Well, here I am catching up again!!  I had yesterday off and only got on the computer for 10 minutes in the morning...Thus no time for posting!  I had a hair cut..had to go to work for our Open enrollment benefits meeting...(DH doesn't do those)....Dropped a load at Goodwill...ran some other errands and hit a few stores for ME....Kohl's and Christopher & Banks.   Found some nice work clothes!!

I early voted last week, so that's done.  Only appointments are for the boys to get their flu shots on Friday.  Going to see if I can get DH to take them.  We also have Parent/Teacher conferences Friday afternoon for both boys.  Hoping for good reports....we'll see!

Weather has taken a turn...cold and rainy today....we might even see some of the "white" stuff....SNOW!  Yuck!  Hope not!

Well may the best man win...I guess!  It's going to be a long day I think....!

No snow, no snow!!

Geez, it's 46 here and I feel like I'm frozen from the inside out, LOL.  It's going to be a long winter.

PS  Claire found the flipping hamster!  He finally got hungry and she nabbed him when he came out from under the stove.  I'm so relieved.  I didn't want him to be a kitty appetizer, but I did enjoy not being able to cook, ROTFL!
