I'm thrilled today is DH's payday because I have a stack of bills here to pay.

Like you, we need to get shopping for the boys done... soon! It's getting much warmer here and Will has all but outgrown all of his shorts.

And I love payday! We get paid during the same week, which I don't like, but, we have a system of bills we pay each payday for about half of the year, then everything switches due to having 3 paydays twice a year. I wish we were paid bi-monthly instead of bi-weekly. Would make my life much easier!

Thrilling... Well, hubby comes home today! I'm glad. I don't sleep well anyway, but even less so when he's away. We haven't even spoken on the phone once since he's been away -- he's working until late at night and is an hour behind us to boot, so by the time he can call, I'm on my 3rd dream. LOL. We have texted a bit, but only a bit. He's just busy as all get out.

Baby's crib mattress arrived and fits with a lot of room to spare where I've planned on putting the crib, so that's good that I measured properly. :) Her crib arrives on Thursday according to amazon.com. We'll see.

Took the boys to see Chronicle yesterday. Jake is almost 12 and it's a PG-13 movie, so it was about right for his age... but then my kids watch all manner of movies so long as there is no sex. That's probably crazy, right? Violence and cursing is fine, but I draw the line at boobies. I'll admit that I'm not the best mom in the world. Anyhoo, it was our first movie together here in TX, and the first time I think that I've taken just the boys to a movie without hubby or Libby. But then my movie memory is really poor. I wouldn't remember half the movies we've seen at the theatre had we not saved just about every ticket stub (I seriously have most of our ticket stubs, going back to 1996).

I'm also thrilled that I'm on vacation. I didn't realize how badly I needed a break from work. The last real time I had off was last June when we moved, and that wasn't nearly a vacation. :)

TGIF!!

Was the movie good?

What color crib did you choose?

I am so happy your hubs is home.

The movie was ok. Not great IMO, but the boys enjoyed it. Not one we'll probably buy on dvd. Well, maybe, since Libby wants to see it.

Here's the crib. It's short (36") which I think will be nice. Our bedroom furniture is a very dark color, almost black but not quite. This won't match 100%, but will come close enough especially since it won't be right up against anything we currently have. And, I checked on tracking, and apparently it will be here Monday. So I'm really excited about that! Now, depending on how challenging it looks, I may let hubby and Libby put it together. I'm not anxious to overdo it anymore. I'm sure it won't be too heavy, but probably will be awkward, and that's not good either.

Hubby actually arrives this evening... imagine he'll be home by 7pm or so. Cannot wait. And, he is off until Sunday, and actually only has to run in on Sunday to do payroll, so will be nice to chill with him before we both have to work for real again. I'll lay on the couch and watch him play Mass Effect 3 while reading. Or napping. Whatever. ;) But housework is finished and I'm just getting some laundry done. Quick trip to the store and then I'm free and clear until Tuesday when I have to pick up Libby. So, that's extremely nice!

I'll be sad to see vacation go, but the girls are getting hammered at work. I still get email on my phone and I'm feeling pretty badly for them right now. But, a good chance for OT and we love OT! More maternity leave! w00t w00t!!

Oh it is very sweet and extra perfect now that the 'drop sides' are taboo.
