I'm thrilled that I won't be getting so many phone calls and so much junk/political mail once the election is over.  Honestly, is anyone ever swayed by robocalls?

What's thrilling in your world? Wink

I totally agree with you.....I'm so glad we have caller ID.....I don't even look at the crap that comes in the mail....it goes right in the recycle bin!  I think I'm going to vote tomorrow afternoon....we can early vote at our City Hall up until 4:00 Friday and with tomorrow afternoon off work...that's going to be my first stop!

I'm thrilled to be done with all the sports for 2 months.....Phew!  Nice to have a break from that stuff.  Basketball will start up in January!

Yeah, I'll be glad when those are over as well.

Thankful that baby girl remains healthy. Had a checkup today, and she's a whopping 18lbs 1 oz (off the charts) and 25.25" long (96th percentile). Doc is kind of, kind of not concerned because William was also on this growth path and is in the 13th percentile for weight now at the age of 15, almost 16 (tall and skinny). I didn't have his stats for 3m, but I did for 9.5w and 4m, so I did some mathing (God bless Excel) and I think that at 3m he would have weighed about 18lbs also. So, I feel better.

She did suggest we not let her eat so much in the middle of the night (she sleeps first for 4 hours, then up every 2 to eat 4-5 ounces). Suggests letting her cry. Which, honestly, I'm not going to do. Everyone is up too early to have to listen to a crying baby. But that's not even why -- I just don't let my babies cry when they're this little if there's something I can do to help. I don't really care what other moms do -- that's their business. But I just am not a CIO type of mom. Most certainly not when baby is 3m old. She looks like a toddler (LOL), but she's just a baby still.

Trick-or-treating went well. Big kids had a great time (William bailed on us not long after we began so he could ToT with his buddies). Zo was over it towards the end, but did well for about 45 minutes. She's not a leave-the-house kind of girl (she was in an absolute state for most of our outing this morning, good grief), and this was her very first time out of the house at night, so I think she was intrigued and yet worried -- so I walked beside her while hubby pushed the stroller. We've got to get her out more, and now that it's starting to cool off here, we can take her out for walks in the neighborhood. You know, when I finally one day have energy to do anything after work, LOL.

Anyhoo, here's a family pic from last night.

So glad that tomorrow is Friday! I'm beat!

Mary - I voted early too.  It's so nice to have it out of the way.  (DH said he was going to vote, but wasn't going to vote for anyone who is registered as a Democrat or a Republican.  WTH?!?  I hate it when he says stupid stuff, but I didn't argue - just talked him into voting for one lady who is a CPA (like he is) for state auditor.  I'm a Republican, she's a Democrat, but she's the best candidate for the job and he agreed.  DH is a hot mess when it comes to politics.)

Brie, I wouldn't let her cry either.  Hopefully she'll start sleeping through the night soon so you guys can!

I just love your Halloween pic - the kids look fabulous.  What fun!
