I have a big bruise on my rump and another grapefruit-sized bruise on my left thigh which really hurts too.  How did I get them?

I fell out of bed last night!  Not a graceful roll with a gentle landing, but a "shake the earth" kind of boom when I hit the floor.  I'm so lucky I didn't bang my head.  I always sleep on the left side of the bed, but at the hotel I slept on the right side and maybe I thought I was back in that bed??  At any rate, I didn't break any bones so that's a relief.

Have you ever hurt yourself? :smileysurprised:

OMG, that garbage disposal story is scary, the wood chipper is scary, the saw is scary, the broken glass is scary, the door is scary, the knife is scary - well it's all just plain frightening, LOL!  Guess I'm not alone in my goofiness, thanks for sharing, but you have to be careful -- you know this right?!

Now sleeping shouldn't be scary, ha ha.  Matt offered to put a rail on my king-sized bed like we used when they were toddlers.  Wise guy.  I am definitely interested in trying the Vitamin K cream.  Didn't know about it, but since these bruises are super UGLY, I will certainly try it.  I'm so thankful they're easily covered by my clothes!!

DH hasn't seen my boo-boos yet.  He will be horrified.

OMG....Ouch!  That must have been a good dream...or a nightmare!  Never heard about the vitamin K thing....I'll have to keep that in mind.  I bruise easy too...I'll walk around Dylans bed and hit the corner on my thigh....Next thing I know it is all black and blue!  I did have multiple ankle sprains in my days of being a gymnast...!  To this day, I will just be walking and can twist my ankle....on basically nothing!

Brie...I think you should live in a bubble...LMAO!  Wow, be careful!!  Those power tools can jump right out at you....:smileyhappy:

After a few beverages - hilarious!

I would definitely qualify for Bubble status.  Anyone who gets this beat up just sleeping is clearly a danger to herself.  I need heavier air here - to hold me up when I fall, LOL.

DH sprained his ankle a million years ago and will still have the occasional flare-up.  It's like a shoulder dislocation; apparently if you do it once it will probably come out of the socket again down the line...
