Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?
We do. We get cards and candy for the kids, sometimes stuffed animals (Libby made it clear that this year they want those, LOL), and hubby gets a card. Kids get me cards and hubby gets me flowers and candy usually. I told hubby I didn't want those this year and wanted to go out instead -- we've got a gift card to a nice seafood place as a tip he rec'd and I've decided we should use it now. He agreed. But. He's ordered me flowers anyway (at least his credit card charge to FTD had BETTER be for me, LOL). I don't mean to find these things out, but I control all the bank accounts and he only has a debit card. So, I find out. I'm really, really good at acting surprised, though. :)
I will say that it's all a racket, and that really, he should just bring me flowers on a non-event day. That would mean more, I think, but, I take what I can get. :)
We are all about any occasion that involves candy!!!
We usually do cards and very small stuff....I'll buy DH a bag of his favorite candy....nothing too big.
We do cards and candy, sometimes I get flowers but not every year and that's fine.
I'd take a massage over flowers and candy any day! My new hair place is a salon/spa, and I'm thinking I'll schedule a prenatal one once I'm really huge. I've never ever had a massage or a pedicure. Perhaps I'll treat myself to both. :)
