It's Wednesday and I'm home from the Bahamas!  It was really fun. We didn't get to snorkel because the wind picked up on the water, but the weather was warm and wonderful. Still can't believe I survived 4 flights in 3 days -- the things we do for a little R&R.

Meanwhile I'm wondering what is happening with you this week?!

Oh my gosh!  When it rains, it pours.  It does sound like that last episode of vomiting was flu-related since the DH and Riley came down with it too, but I'm glad Dylan still has the appointment to try to explain the rest.  Poor you too.  I swear having a sick kid(s) is the worst.

It's bad but the sentence about the boys being back at school and Dad still home made me laugh.  Kids can bounce back so much faster than we can from that crud.  Hope everyone is back to normal soon!!!!

So glad you had a nice time!!!

My week has been one for the books.  So, I don't remember if I told you about the tummy issues Dylan has been having?  We took him off milk thinking it was a Lactose issue, he seemed to be pretty good for a couple of weeks, then since we have been back from Mexico, he has had these episodes of puking (usually at night), complains of his tummy hurting.  4-5 times in the last 2-3 weeks.  Never 2 days in a row and no fever or other symptoms.  Well, he had one of these again over the weekend on Saturday night....Sunday didn't feel the best, Monday morning wakes up and tummy hurts.  We went to his ped and he referred us to a Pediatric GI specialist at Children's Hospital of Milwaukee, appointment for April 12th.  Well Monday night he had another puking episode, but then he cried and cried that his tummy hurt, was very agitated and couldn't get comfortable for at least an hour...still crying...so we took him to the ER.  They gave him and IV with some pain meds and antinauseous meds.  The ER Doctor here thought it sounded like a problem with his intestines where they turn themselves inside out....so he contacted the ER at Children's in Milwaukee and they wanted us to be transported down there....so at 1:00 am I'm riding in an ambulance to Milwaukee, in the mean time Steve started to feel ill at the ER, turned totally white and almost passed out.  I told him to go home and rest....he did and spent the night puking too, then Riley woke up Tuesday morning with it also.....(seriously, can you believe this).  Those 2 stayed home on Tuesday, we got down to the ER in Milwaukee and the doctors there said that they didn't see the same issue on the x-ray that the ER Doctor here thought.  So they did do a CT Scan and everything came back negative (good sign).  But we really don't have an answer yet.  The Pediatric GI clinic is suppose to call me to move up that April 12th appointment, but of couse I haven't heard from them yet today....so I'll be calling them soon.  AND maybe Dylan puking Monday night was the actual flu since Steve and Riley had it to.....who knows!  So yesterday when we got home from Milwaukee I ran around the house with Lysol wipes and wiped down everything that any of us touch!  Washed all bedding and blankets in HOT water.  Both boys are back to school today and Steve is home still recovering. I'm exhausted!  Surprised I'm still standing!

So that's my week so far and it's just half over!
