Hi! I've always been visiting another work at home board. Didn't even know this one existed! I will bookmark it!

A little about me...I started working from home about 14 months ago. I was looking for a way to supplement my income. So I began working in the evenings after my boys went to bed since I worked a 9-5 job. I just went part time a couple of weeks ago and looking to work at home full time in the next few months.

I'm in Iowa and my boys are 3 1/2 and 16 months. My dh is a full time chiro student.

I'm excited to have found this board and get to know all of you!

Hi Courtney. Love your name! (My daughter is named Courtney.)

I see you are on a Melaleuca team. Is this what has enabled you to move to part time work outside the home? I have a friend with Melaleuca who has been really quite successful with it. She is currently trying to "convert" me. LOL! We have a blog about it, but I don't know if I can post it here.

Welcome!

Hi! I was beginning to wonder if there was anyone of this board :)

Yep, I'm home more because of Melaleuca. It's been really great for us!

Tell me more about your site. It looks really neat!

Yes, there are people here. However, being WAHMs, it can be pretty sporatic sometimes. Take me for example... I haven't had a chance to post here in a few weeks.

Thank you for the compliment on my site. What do you want to know? Cuz I don't have a clue what to tell you. LOL! Between the home page, the owner page and the first few entries of my blog, I hope that what my site is all about and how it developed is explained. My site is a big work in progress though. I still have a long way before the content completely reflects my goal. Baby steps....

Hi! iVillage has really strict rules on me going into business details because they see it as I'm promoting myself. I can't even leave an email address but going through my profile is ok!

Sorry - I will check your profile- I didn't realize that iVillage was that strict.

Actually, there is no marketing or advertising on our blog, therefore no profit to be gained. So, I don't see any reason why I can't post a link to our blog. I think you might find it pretty amusing.

Yeah, they are. The strictest site I use. They just are trying to eliminate all the spam which is understandable. There's an email option in

You can have links in your signature - that's ok! You just can't direct people there...but like you said since you have nothing to gain it might be just fine for you anyway.

I enjoyed reading your blog

Hi Courtney,
Congratulations on being home more with your kids, isn't it great? I love being a wahm :-)How long have you been with Melaleuca? I used to be with Melaleuca but it was not the right home biz for me. My girlfriend enrolled me and she is doing very well with them, she got a nice car from them. I used to be with the Mom Team, what team are you with?

Have a great holiday!
