I'm new here (from NJ)

Hello!
I already dove in and started replying to posts but it occured to me that I should probably introduce myself! My name is Pamela and I'm from NJ. I have 4 adorable kids, a great husband and a couple of awesome home businesses. I started working from home in 1998 as a independent contractor in the web development field. Eventually I had some pretty high profile clients, and I found that even though I was working from home I was working too much (probably 20+ hours a day!) and I was buring myself out. So I quit, or as I prefer to say, I retired :)

I spent a couple months just hanging around with my kids and taking long walks in the park, and at night surfing the internet. I had just had my 3rd child and decided I wanted to find something similar to the old black scrapbook my grandmother had to put my new baby's pictures in. Well that resulted in over 40,000 results! and a whole new career! I started scrapbooking, then I was asked to teach, then I joined a direct sales company and its all history. I get to stay home with my kids and do something I love every day. I hope everyone else is as lucky! (and if you have any potty training tips please email me! my little ones are driving me crazy!)

So now you know a little about me, I hope to make some new friends here and stick around for awhile!

Hi, Pamela! Welcome to the board - it's nice to "meet" you! I'm a WAHM of 2 boys and I've been a Pampered Chef Ind. Consultant for about 2 years now, and love it, too. Glad to hear you found your "passion"!! Looking forward to getting to know you better!

Hi Pamela, welcome to the board! Wow, another busy lady (but I have a feeling that every single one of us is a very busy lady!)!

Heh, and maybe we could share potty-training woes... I'm working on my 2yo right now!

Hi Pamela!

I was just browsing around your website. My best friend is a TLC consultant and has asked be to design a website for her. Thought I'd check out how you did yours.

May I make a suggestion? I've heard over and over that you must capture your visitors' information. (Which I have yet to do on my own site... shame on me.) I did see that you have a "Join My Mailing List" link, but I just barely saw it. It gets lost under the contents/navigation bar. I might recommend making it a little more attention-getting. Could just be me though. How does it work for you now?

How does the website work out for you? Any suggestions?
