Hello,
My name is Priscilla and im a sahm of 3.My daughter will be 8 in March, son turned 6 in august and another son who will be 1 on December 3rd.My hubby got laid off from his construction job alot earlier than he expected and then yesterday he got a call from them saying he could keep his insurance and get no check or cancel his insurance and get 20 of the 40 hrs he worked so pretty much were screwed. He was going to go back to work for the winter driving a truck from an old boss but that man cant find this truck hes repo'ing and plus the guys sick w/ the flu. He's also called an old boss from a few yrs ago to see if he needed any help for the winter and that guy said he'd call if anything came up. If at all possible i'd REALLY love to do something from home and im not picky so long as i could do it. I saw an ad in the paper today about mystery shopping and i was gonna give them a call in the morning. I"m really desperate we're having to borrow money from hubbys mom just to pay the bills this week.If nothing pans out i'll have to try to find a sitter(from where i dont know) and start looking for a job which just makes me almost sick to my stomache. I should say that i nurse my baby and i'd like to keep doing that which is one of the reasons I dread working outside the home. Any advice or help of any kind will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Priscilla

Hi Priscilla,
I'm sorry you are in such a tough position.
Hi Priscilla,
Welcome to the board! I'm so sorry to hear about the predicament that you've found yourself in.
First of all, I'd recommend that you do some research on Mystery Shopping... google it and do some reading. There are some legitimate companies out there and then there are some that I've heard just like to take an application fee.
Second, I'm going to differ from the idea of using credit cards to get yourself through this season. Depending on the individual, that can just turn a small hole into a crater.

Priscella - that sounds like a really hard situation & my thoughts go out to you & your family! You will find what you need - just don't give up. I nursed my youngest until she was almost 2 & I could not imagine quitting BF until you & the baby are ready. Keep your head up & your eyes open! The right thing will come along!
