Hi,
I just found this board and wanted to say Hi. I'm a wahm in San Diego County California, have 3 school age kids and a 6 mo old baby. Just transitioned from office to home work about 9 months ago. Love my job, love my kids, love my new house, but wow it's a lot harder to be home than be in the office - at least for me. I'm excited to read through the board and find some commonality - it's a little lonely here sometimes.

Welcome to the board Donna! I am Amanda, I am a recent WAHM too. It is really hard working at home for sure. I am new to the board as well and have only been around here for a week or so. What kind of work do you do? I telecommute for a home based shopping channel and really like it a lot for the most part.

I buy the online media and search engine optimization for a national dental related company - make sure we come up on top in the search engines, banner ads, etc. I like it a lot. I miss the office sometimes bit I'm hime w/my 6 mo old and before and after school fir the others. I'n in southern california, where are you? Do you have full time help at home?

That sounds like a really interesting job ... I actually work in the evenings so my husband is here. I take care of the kids during the day and I also have a small online hairbow/accessories website I own and do that during the day and then work at night on the phone when dh is home. I totally need a maid though LOL because my house suffers because of it.
