Hi to all, new to this board but not ivillage. I am very much and I trully mean very much in need of a job. Long story so I will try to get to the point. I have panic attacks
and have been dealing with this for three years. They started after my father died and the meds don't work for me. I have been a stay at home mom for 15 years and also have homeschooled them as well. I need some income but not yet ready to go back to what I did before, retail work. Any ideas would be great. I am great with organizing, cooking, proof-
reading, billing and accounting. Please if anyone has ideas that would be great, thanks.

Along with the list that Alice provided, with your background, you would be a perfect fit with a direct sales company. Check out www.dsa.org and see if any of those companies interest you. Start with the things that you like to do (you mentioned organizing, cooking, proofreading, etc) and look into the different opportunities that they offer. Best of luck to you!

I realize i already posted but i was having a brain fart at the time(ds was sick all last night)

I work for a company that lets me be my own boss. What i actually do is cook for people using the really great stuff the company gives me...then the people i cook for buy things. It is really simple. I make my own hours that are weaved around my husbands full time job and his schooling. I make enough money to cover our car payments and part of rent. There are also some really good benefits such as promotion to higher pay and paid vacations (im going to the Bahama's this year)

I meet a lot of new people, and the others in the business share really good tips and support for everything, work related or not!

Hey, thanks for the input and hope you are feeling better. I think I get where you are but I'm a little confused about what company you are with if that is the case. I have looked into the private chef biz and there are strict rules in terms of having a kitchen that meets guidlines and also there are classes for food safety. Maybe you could share a little more with me if you don't mind. Cooking is what I do best in terms of pleasure and
being creative.
thanks

Hi. Saw your message. Soliciting is not allowed on the boards. I can help you find a legitimate work at home job. I have three children ages 13, 11 and 9 and I searched for years to find something that I could do and make decent money. I even fell for quite a few scams. Feel free to email me at kfanty@cox.net and I will point you in the right direction. I look forward to talking with you.

Have you tought of home party companies? There are good ones out there where you can make a great income. Match your skills with one of the companies and choose one that you believe in their products and go for it!!!
