WAH needed, any advice?

Let me just introduce myself and give a little background. I am 23, live in Philadelphia, PA with my parents part time and my boyfriend part time, and I have no kids. I am just finishing up a Medical Transcription course that will do me no good because the school isn't certified by the AAMT and I have no trascription experience. I cannot get a job in a medical office or other physical place because I have dibilating migraines and cannot work. I am on SSI but it doesn't pay a lot and I have to finish paying this course that did me no good, school loans, credit card, etc. I desperately need a job and cannot find one.

My migraines started when I was 13 and have been the source of my departure from every job I have ever had since the age of 15. Voluntarily and mostly involuntarily, I left. So now here I am depending on my parents and my boyfriend for financial support (aside from the crummy SSI). I thought MT would do me a lot of good but the course I took was a rip off and I didn't find this out until just last month. A ton of money down the tube and to behonest I didn't want to do MT that badly either. So now I am at a loss. I can't keep a real job and now I have no idea how to get a WAH job. Can anyone help me? It feels so awful having to depend on other people to support you when everyone else your age does it themselves. Thanks.

brianne

PS I do post on migraines and headaches often :o)

I know someone who can help you. I'm in the process of getting to work with her myself. I think this is going to be great. So I emailed her to look at your post and hopefully, she will get on here soon and see how it goes. She will not tell you on the board what she does, though since it is not allowed. But we have spoken several times so far and she's very sweet. I liked what I heard and hopefully, you will too.

Hi,
A site that was really helpfull to me was www.wahm.com also try www.hbwm.com
both these sites are really great. Also ask yourself what are your interests? Go from there, do a search on google or yahoo that is what I do. Take care and I hope everything works out great.

What are your interests? Would you be interested in a direct sales business? Their are so many out there. You could work at your own pace. Some companies you don't even have to fork over any money right away.I joined when where i was able to earn my starter kit by getting orders from family and firends and dh co workers.

As much as I'd love your contact info, it's against the rules here for some weird reason to say anything about your home biz even though this board is dedicated to talking about them. HMMM....I'll find a way to get in touch so you can find out the info you are requesting.

Just to clarify, you CAN talk about the business you are in, but you can't try to sell to or recruit the people on this board by asking them to email you about products or the opportunity. You can tell people what co. you work for and how you do certain things, give suggestions on similar topics (like how to book shows, etc.), but you can't solicit people. That's the rule.
