I found this film to be touching and engaging, as well as informative. I learned more about her relationship with George Putnam than I knew before, and more about what led up to her attempt to fly around the world.
I think Hilary Swank did well as Amelia and enjoyed the few clips they showed of the actual woman, as well as the photos at the end.
I was a bit put off, though, by the portrayal of conversations had between her and her navigator that no one could have heard. I'd rather they had skimmed over the time they spent between flights on the way around the world, than to speculate and make up situations and conversations that can never be verified.
