I've asked several people I know, and everyone says they love it, but apparently they're biased because I'm not really getting many hits. Critique me, please.
I lead a very uncomplicated life, but I'm far from a wallflower. I'm looking for someone that will complement that, but also introduce me to new and exciting things. On a sunny Saturday afternoon, we can have lunch at a hole-in-the-wall little Venezuelan restaurant downtown, find a hidden treasure at a flea market or garage sale, grab a cowboy hat and a lawn seat at an outdoor concert, take an iceskating lesson at the local rink, or walk around the Village with a cream puff in hand, admiring the architecture. That evening, we can sit around the BBQ pit with a beer and a margarita and a friend strumming away on his guitar, find a prime middle spot at the drive-in theater, or take a twilight canoe ride. I'm very easy to get along with!
Randomness about me: I once almost got thrown in a mexican jail. I think circuses, zoos, and parades are kind of creepy. I suck at painting. I make great chicken enchiladas. How I Met Your Mother is one of my favorite TV shows, and I think I'm a great compilation of all the characters.
I'm a small town girl with a curious nature and a bit of a devil on one shoulder ;-) I'm very independent, but also soft and sweet and I've been told that communication is one of my strong suits. I believe that falling in love is a feeling, but staying in love is a choice. I would love to be Somebody's Someone, and I really do think Somebody's out there, so come find me! I'm a little goofy on the surface sometimes, but there's so much more to me underneath that I'd love to have the opportunity to show someone that's intrigued enough to want to see. I'm a writer, a thinker, a lover, and a dreamer...
I'm looking for a guy who can think outside the box. Someone outgoing, creative, and strong-hearted. Someone who has more than meets the eye. Sports and TV are great, but I'd love to meet someone that can make hours of conversation about LIFE go by in a blink. My family doesn't live here, so I'd love to find someone that has a great and welcoming circle of friends and family. I'm looking for someone who is emotionally available to be in and is wanting to be in a relationship, but not with "just anybody". I'm not Just Anybody, and I don't want you to be, either.
for fun:
In the summer I love to just be outside doing anything (barefoot, of course). In the winter I'm a Netflix-&-cuddle-on-the-couch junkie. I like to go bowling, play mini-golf, & just generally be kinda goofy with someone who appreciates my goofiness.
my job:
After 5 years in the travel industry, I now work in Property Management, but my 5 year plan is to own my own small business.
my ethnicity:
I check the white girl box on standardized tests :::shrugs::: I do have a tiny bit of Native American in there somewhere, which is a tiny bit cool.
my religion:
I have faith, it's just a little...unorganized ;-) I go to church occasionally, and broaden my spiritual horizons at a contemporary service that lets me in the door in jeans.
my education:
I have a degree in xxxxx, from xxxxx University, and worked in a travel agency for 5 years.
favorite hot spots:
I've always wanted to do a Southwest trip, I love cruises, beaches, and Key West is one of my favorite places. Naturally, Cheeseburger in Paradise is a cool place for dinner. Are you seeing a trend yet?
favorite things:
sleeping in, thunderstorms, cooking together, Scene It/Trivial Pursuit, outdoor concerts, cherry Icees, country music, thriller movies, college hockey, Dave& Buster's skeeball, backyard BBQs, iceskating, Sunday Open Houses, Mexican food...
last read:
"24 characters remaining", if you mean literally ;-) I just bought a house, so my coffee table is piled high with useful How-To books. I'm also reading Stumbling On Happiness by Daniel Gilbert and a James Patterson novel.
