Well it took the new season of the Biggest Loser to get me back into the gym last night but I did it. I've been out of the gym for about a month now so I started simple, just a straight 45 minutes on the treadmill. I varied the inclines and speed, and even did a couple of 30 second runs at 4.5 in the last 5 minutes. Not bad considering how badly I wanted to go home after about 15 minutes. I'm extremely sore this morning but from the look of the weather, I won't be doing my patrol this evening so I'm very glad I got that workout in. I'll be doing my upper body strength training at work tonight and then hopefully getting back into the gym after work. It's definitely time to kick my metabolism back in gear!
