in general. Over the summer my dd had a US History poster to do on a famous american, that was due the 2nd. day of school. ELA, out of a list of 6 books she had to read 2 & she took an AR test on 1 & write a 5 paragraph essay on the other or do an oral report. Science, very detailed natural castrophie scrapbook,events occuring during June 25th & Sept. 1st. Points off for historical events used. Since we didn't have enough during that time period it got extended to end of Sept. & can now use historical along w/current.
She'ds been back in school 2 weeks & she has another US History project they're working on that is to be made into a tour guide book. Monuments & memorials in Washington DC. he wants size, materials, cost design etc. what it symbolizes, what traditions developed at this memorial/monument how the person or event effect US Govt. or history, signigance to american history., history of the times this commemorates, purpose event it helps us to remember.
