Are you ready?
I am definitely NOT! The challenge of getting gifts for older children gets harder and harder, imho. What they want gets pricier and pricier. We've always done the 4 gift thing here--something you want, something you need, something to play with, something to read. With kids who are 12, 14, 19, 24 and 27, it's definitely time to get creative.
I'm about figured out 27ds. Mostly because he just wanted $$ to help pay for his plane ticket home. He told me not to buy him any gifts. That's great, but I want him to have some things to open on Xmas morning! One thing I'm doing is to put together one or 2 small photo albums w/his old school pics and other snapshots. (I did this for 24dd last year and she loved it.) I bought the abums @ Michael's on sale; I got 2 for less than $5. I already have tons of cardstock that I need to use up. Now to finish going through our pictures!
At a loss for the others. For those of you w/teens, got any ideas for me? HELP!
