My DS & DD are coming home for Thanksgiving - they will be arriving Tuesday Evening & Leaving Friday morning ( DS has to work) anyway... because they won't be home for Christmas we decided we'd give them thier Xmas gifts when they come (and yes I will have them open them) So I asked DS what he needed - I have some ideas for DD- so my son tells me the one thing I NEVER thought I'd hear him needing or using: an iron!!! and Ironing board!!! - Ha Ha- he needs to do his dress shirts for work so he is asking for a steam iron. I'm going to go to Target as they have some ones that are fairly basic (and I want an automatic shut off) I also will p/u one of those table-top iron boards - and he will use this I know- and he will be better off keeping his sister as far away from ironing as he can

For DD - she had previously asked me to write down some receipes of mine- for chicken soup, beef stew & applesauce- so I'm getting her a nice stock-pot and adding my receipes & some of the ingredients (mostly spices) for the things she asked for Also getting her a skillet & wok pan and some utensils
